Introduction

Hello everyone, in this podcast, we'll talk about pets and their care. It will be divided into three episodes
where we will talk about several interesting topics that every pet sitter should know. So we will provide
advice on the special care your pet needs and also share interesting facts and methods for training them.

Do you know the types of pets around the world?

Around the world, people have all kinds of different pets, here I will introduce you to some of them, the
most common and the least known.

Among the best known we have dogs, being called for centuries "man's best friend" for their fidelity and
company. We also have cats, which are best known for being independent, but that doesn't mean they
aren't loving, they love their owners in a unique way. On the other hand, we start with the less common
pets that people have, among them, one of the most tender, the minipig recognized for having great
intelligence, reaching the point of being able to be trained like a dog.

The next pet is the rat, a small domesticated rodent native to China, it is a very intelligent pet that learns
easily. Among the rarest, we have pythons, they are one of the most famous exotic pets, they are sold in
specialized stores and we must bear in mind that they are not completely domesticated so you have to a
good management. also the tarantulas is a pet famous, they feed on live food or small insects, they are calm
and silent and only need a good diet and responsible management.

Another of the most adorable pets there are, are the miniature donkeys, it looks like a giant stuffed animal,
these small donkeys require company, so if you plan to have one, you must give it a good attention or have
another donkey to accompany them.

Another not so well known pet is the capybara, this is the largest living rodent, so it is the big cousin of the
guinea pig and the hamster. They are tender when raised in the right way and very clever. One of the
drawbacks of having it as a pet is that it needs a lot of space, a pool or pond to feel good and require a lot
of maintenance.

Next is one of the dangerous animals of Australia comes the cousin of the crocodile, the bearded dragon. It
receives this name because of the fold of its skin and its thick scales under the throat. Normally, it lives in
the great deserts and savannas of the south east of Australia, but many times it is found in glass boxes
accompanied by dry leaves. This animal is one of the rarest and strangest pets in the world, it feeds on
vegetables, fruits and insects; They also eat meat.

Next, is the land hermit crab. Little have we talked about the rarest aquatic pets, but this is a great example.
Those who have it at home say that it is ideal as a pet, because this crab spends his life looking for a
suitable place to live, so, providing a good cozy aquarium with food, he will be much more than
comfortable.
You should know that as it grows it changes skin until its four antennae and two pincers come out, and
with the passage of time you will need to give it a new shell because they are animals that are constantly
transforming. The good news? It can live up to thirty years!

In conclusion, no matter if your pet is aquatic or terrestrial, large or small, the company and love they will
give you will be unmatched, just by keeping them comfortable and happy, love in your home will never be
lacking.
