1. A shopkeeper bought an article with market price ₹ 1200 from the wholesaler at a discount of
10%. The shopkeeper sells this article to the customer on the market price printed on it. If the rate
of GST is 6%, then find: (i) GST paid by the wholesaler. (ii) Amount paid by the customer to buy
the item.
2. Ms. Roy went to a departmental store and bought the following items. The GST rates and the
quantity of each items and market price of each are given below and Find the: (i) The total amount
of SGST paid. (ii) The total amount of the bill.

3. A customer buys a bookshelf marked at ₹ 5000 at a discount of 20% on the marked price.
Calculate the discount price customer has to pay for this purchase.
4. A dealer in Gujarat, say Ramesh supplies services worth ₹ 10000 to Suresh a person in Goa, if the
rate of GST is 28%, find the CGST.
5. A dealer is in Gorakhpur by some articles for ₹ 28000 if the rate of GST is 5%, find how much will
the dealer pay for the article bought.
6. A product is sold from Chennai to Madurai for ₹ 58000 and then from Madurai to Coimbatore. If
the rate of tax under GST system is 18% and the profit made by the dealer in Gwalior is ₹ 13000,
find:
i. net GST paid by the dealer in Gwalior
ii. CP for the tailor in Indore.
7. The Marked price of the goods is ₹ 64000 at the rate of GST on it is 12%. A shopkeeper buys goods
at a reduced price and sells it at its marked price. If the shopkeeper paid ₹ 8000 as CGST to the
government find the amount inclusive of GST paid by the shopkeeper.
8. The costs of some financial services are given below in the same city cost of services ₹ 5800,
₹6600, ₹8700, ₹4900. If the rate of GST is 5% find the amount of GST on above services.

100000 and dealer Y sells the same products to dealer Z at a profit of ₹ 24000 Calculate the tax
liability of Y if the rate of GST is 12%.
11. A manufacturer in a firm manufactures a machine and marks it at ₹ 80000. He sells the machine to
the wholesaler in Gorakhpur at a discount of 20%. The wholesalers of the machine to the dealer in
Mathura at a discount of 15% on the marked price. If the rate of GST 28% find the tax paid by the
wholesaler to the central government.
12. Manjeet, Dilawar and Ravi live in the same city. Manjeet sells an article to Dilawar for ₹ 60000 and
Dilawar sells the same article to Ravi at a profit of ₹ 8000. If all the transactions are under GST
system at the rate of 12%, find:
i. State government tax SGST paid by the Dilawar
ii. Total tax received by CGST
iii. How much does Ravi pay for the article?
