Q.1: What is WordArt?


Ans. WordArt is a text-styling feature of MA Word.
Q.2: What does the WordArt gallery include?
Ans. WordArt gallery includes different styles that can be applied to any text.
Q.3: When you design a poster is it important to make the headline
attractive?
Ans. Yes, it is important to make the headline attractive to make the subject of the poster
eye-catching.
Q.4: Why do you think WordArt give you a number of choices to do this?
Ans. WordArt gallery gives a number of choices to
make the headline attractive because this feature
will make it popular and widely-used by people.

Q.5: Explain WordArt styles?


Ans. The shape and formatting options of a
WordArt object are called WordArt styles.

Q.6: List the steps to insert a WordArt object.


Ans. The steps to insert a WordArt object are:
1. Place the cursor at the position where you want to insert a WordArt object.
2. Click on Insert tab.
3. Click the WordArt button in the Text group and select a WordArt style. A placeholder
appears in the document.

4. Replace the placeholder with the text you want.

 Write T for the true statements and F for the false ones.
1. You cannot move a text box from one position two another. (F)
2. If you want the shape to be transparent, then select the no fill option. (T)
3. You can convert the regular text into WordArt. (T)
4. You cannot insert shapes like star or callout in a Word document. (F)
5. You cannot change the order of the shapes, if one shape overlaps the other. (F)

Q.1: How will adding images of varying sizes to


your document make it more interesting? Is this
important?
Ans. Adding pictures will make your document more informative. Inserting images of
varying sizes will create a more artistic feel to the document. If there is not enough space
and you have to create a one page article, it may help to vary the sizes of the pictures in
order to adjust all the content onto one page.

Q.2: List the steps to crop an image to a shape.


Ans. The steps to crop an image are:
1. Select the image.
2. Click the FORMAT tab.
3. In the Size group, click the Crop
command.
4. The Cropping handles will appear
around the image. Click, hold and drag a
handle to crop the unwanted part of the
image. Click the Crop command again to crop the image.

Q.3: How can the options in the ‘Adjust’ group improve


the appearance of an image?
Ans. The options in the ‘Adjust’ group are Corrections, Color, and
Artistic Effects. The Corrections option allows the user to sharpen
or soften an image. The Color option is used to adjust the tone of
the image. Artistic Effects command is used to add artistic effects
to the image.
 Who am I?
