Job Description - Associate Technical Consultant

Overview:

• Leading AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions Software Product Company and one of Glassdoor’s

• Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be
hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle.

Scope:

• Associate will be responsible for services delivery of BY product implementation and related integration.
• The incumbent should be passionate about working with new technologies and products and demonstrate
the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills – verbal & written.
• Core responsibilities include collaborating with customers on functional requirements desired and
developing new technical solutions that alter existing product behavior to meet the customer’s value needs,
testing to validate that new and existing functional use cases work as desired, and documenting the solution
throughout the development life cycle.
• Development methodologies may differ based on the scope of the projects; however, all rely on
collaborative communication. This includes interaction with internal team members to coordinate
development activities with one-to-many developers, contribute to development execution plans, and
report on development status as well as discuss with the customer directly for clarifications of needs, value
expected, or obtaining feedback via development demonstrations.
• This position will be focused on working with our teams involved in development for the Blue Yonder Retail,
WMS or TMS product suite.

• Software: Mulesoft, MB-Active MQ, Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth, SnowFlake,
ReactJs, Python
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices
architecture.
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks,
Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Gradle GIT, Ignite, Git Hub
actions/Jenkins.

What you’ll do:

• Perform development activities such as coding, testing, and documenting user and technical information
for the features or tools being developed.
• Review reported issues from customers and guide to resolution (data, configuration, necessary code fix)
• Participate in development solution reviews with customers or internal teams to discuss specifications or
demonstrate software developed.
• Ensure development meets the requirements and use cases defined with high quality and on-time.
• Create and execute test plans to verify software quality while documenting results.
• Provide status updates and work with the internal development team to identify and mitigate impediments
to meet the development delivery plans.
Job Description - Associate Technical Consultant
• Keep all applicable systems and documentation updated per standards on a consistent basis (time entry,
JIRA updates, code repositories, feature documentation, etc.)
• Offer guidance to newer team members on development processes and functional-technical questions.
• Assist with occasional critical customer needs such as remote on-call go-live support rotations or on-site
go-live presence.
• Execute training for end users.

What we are looking for:

• BE/B.Tech with 6 CGPA and above without active backlogs in but not limited to:
o Computer Science/Engineering
o Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Familiar with key concept of SaaS, Cloud, MS Azure
• Full understanding of software fundamentals
• Have good programming exposure.
• Familiar with RDBMS concept and understanding of basic SQL.
• Have exposure to scripting language.
• Strong and interpersonal skills to include the ability to be a team player.
• Good communication, analytical and presentation skills
• Attention to detail.
• Well-organized with ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
• Persistent and positive attitude
• Ability to make sound decisions with a high degree of problem-solving capability.
