The Bucket Crusher is used for crushing and reducing the volume of demolition material.
For this reason, it should be specified the machine may be used to crush hard material such
as granite or porphyry providing the dimensions are less than 50% of the crusher’s inlet (vedi
fig. - 2.0) ; you should be aware that wear to the jaws and all consumable components will be
considerably greater; for the purposes of jaw duration, wet material is not recommended.
For the demolition of material with normal hardness, the size must be 30% less than the
crusher’s inlet (verdi fig - 2.0).
If the above stated indications are not verified, considerable problems may occur with the
wedge locks and on the parts adjacent to the jaws.
If these materials are crushed in a continuous manner, also the overall structure of the bucket
will be considerably strained and it is obvious that in both of the above mentioned cases,
Meccanica Breganzese will not be in any way liable.
The machine may be used on:
• Machine tools (Excavators etc.) that meet the specifications specified in the previous point
2.1.
The Bucket Crusher is not foreseen for other uses not indicated in paragraph 2.2.
In particular, it is prohibited to crush inflammable or explosive material or material that could
generate inflammable, explosive, toxic or noxious powder.
It is prohibited to use the Bucket Crusher in environments with a potentially explosive at-
mosphere.

• Once the Bucket Crusher has been connected, turn on the Machine Tool motor and let it
idle.
• Activate the rotation control on the control panel located in the cabin in a slow and gradual
manner, making sure that the jaws rotate in a counter-clockwise direction, looking from
the transmission side.
• Then, empty the Bucket Crusher slowly, so that the outlet faces downward, helping the
crushed product to exit.
• Once the product inside the Bucket Crusher has been crushed, repeat the loading ope-
ration.
5.2 JAMMING
ATTENTION !
If the machine should jam, it is severely prohibited to bang the Bucket Crusher on the
ground. In the case of damage caused by this operation, the manufacturer is free from all
liability.
The sound power assessment produced by the equipment has been evaluated by:
SOVECO S.r.l. - Società veneta per l’ecologia – with the supervision of Dr. Marco Carretto
(Technical Manager).
This assessment has been described in the report dated January 27 2003, and has been
signed by the same Dr. Carretto.
The measurements were taken with the machine fully loaded, under normal weather condi-
tions, without any rain with the microphone always equipped with a wind cover.
The calculation of the sound power emitted from the source was calculated according to
UNI EN ISO 3744.
The assessment covered all product models and produced substantially homogenous
results.
Sound power level emitted by the fully loaded equipment:
LWA = 111.3 dB(A).

• Engage the parking brake.
• Use a sign to indicate that maintenance is being performed.
Before carrying out any maintenance, comply with the instructions contained in
paragraphs 6.1 and 6.2.
The maintenance operations must be carried out by specialized personnel.
Table A contains a list of the checks that the operator must carry out after the first 8 hours
of machine operation.

hours.
Subsequently, inject grease using greasers 1 and 2 on the shaft bearings every 30 hours
of operation.
All maintenance operations, even if the hours of operation have not been reached, must
be performed at least once a year.
The reference numbers for the respective operations correspond to the maintenance
diagram shown in the figure below.
To grease the bearings located inside the machine structure, the operator must
remove the two protections located on the upper part of the coupling plate.
Near every opening, there are two greasers where the operator can use a manual
grease to insert grease.
N.B: the operator must grease the Bucket Crusher with 20 pumps for every
bearing for every 30 hours max of operation.
If grease should exit from the breather pipe, grease only the bearings on the side sup-
ports.
AGIP GR30 grease is recommended for lubrication.
Paragraph 3.2 contains a grease comparison table.
7 MACHINE DEMOLITION
The process of working with the machine does not generate waste or refuse that must be
recycled or disposed of according to the laws in force in the country of use.
If a part is being replaced or when the machine is being scrapped, the elements used for the
equipment (oil, rubber tubes, etc.) must be brought to an authorized disposal center in com-
pliance with the requirements of current applicable law in the machine’s country of use.
ATTENTION !
MECCANICA BREGANZESE S.r.l. declines all liability in the case in which the customer
does not use authorized centers for the disposal of the equipment contained in the machi-
ne.
When the machine is to be scrapped (for any reason such as its use is limited, impossible
to repair, or other), the following is necessary:
ATTENTION !
Any irregularity committed by the customer prior, during or after the scrapping and di-
sposal of the machine components, with regard to the interpretation and application of
current applicable laws, is the exclusive responsibility of the same.
