“slightly different” anti-drug campaign by focusing on the rehabilitation of drug users. In his interview
with the vlogger and celebrity, Toni Gonzaga aired over All TV, he stated that “The war on drugs will
continue but we have to do it in a different way.” He added, “"Even as we speak, there (is) a working
group putting together...They knew war on drugs. We are looking more for the upstream, upstream of
the problem, the prevention. Let us teach the children: 'Do not go there. You won't achieve anything.
Most of those who went there were either jailed or are now dead. So why would you want that?”.
Building rehabilitation is his way to prevent the spreading of drugs to every individual,
especially to the young ones. "In fact, right now, we are trying to formulate how, what is the latest,
and what’s the best way for the rehabilitation," the president said.
Can President Marcos achieve his goal? Can drugs be wiped out? Can young ones be free
from drug addiction?
