ANNOTATION

I was designated as the adviser of Grade 10 Uranus for the school year 2022-2023. This
designation helped me to set standards within my classroom together with my advisory
class. Being assigned as a class adviser, it is one of responsibilities to make sure that the
classroom is conducive for learning. The cleanliness and beautification of the classroom is
a must. In addition, I also need to make sure that each of my students feel safe
emotionally and mentally as they stay under my supervision. I also make sure to
communicate with my students’ parents in order for us to identify and meet the needs of
the students. Dealing with the diversity of the learners as an adviser is a bit challenging,
but being equipped with patience, philosophies and rules, I was able to start the school
year with my advisory class well and good.

ANNOTATION

Being with student writers, helping them to enhance their skills and joining with them in
competition is another achievement I had this school year. From the selection of students
in school-based to intensive training, I did not only shared help and tips to my students,
but I also learned from them as well as to my fellow coaches.
I also learned how to effectively manage students when they went to other school for
the competition. Looking after them is a big responsibility for me. Aside from the
experiences, I really appreciated everything that I had learned during those contest
periods.

ANNOTATION

My participation in the Mid-Year INSET helped me a lot in all aspects. I learned new
tips on making test questions and item analysis. We were also again reminded about
the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers, reiterating to us the proper decorum of a
professional teacher. Updates about new memoranda were also discussed to us. The
discussion about the importance of mental health of teachers also enlightened us. I
also learned the importance of managing finances. For the 5-day training, I was able to
learn tons of things from the different speakers. It helped me assess and improve my
skills, my viewpoint on my mental being and others for me to become an effective
teacher.

Member in the Technical Committees in the Founding
Anniversary
ANNOTATION

The conduct of 25th founding anniversary is one of the school programs that needed the
cooperation of all. The Grade 10 family is assigned in hall preparation. Working hand in
hand, we were able to do arrange the hall ready for each event of the 2-day program. We
worked harmoniously that’s why we were able to arrange everything on time. Showing
cooperation to our students helped them realize that cooperation and collaboration is
important in every task to be done.
I was also designated as one the focal person of e-games. It took a lot of preparation
from the registration of players to creating schedule of games. The 5-day elimination
is also tiring but it was a success with the cooperation of the technical team. Also, we
exceed our expectation. Having experienced this, my skill in management,
communication, and socialization was improved.
