1 Overview

VDP is an initiative under Budget 2023 aimed at providing any person with the opportunity to
disclose in good faith any instances of non-compliance related to their indirect tax liability that
were previously undisclosed or undiscovered by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department
(RMCD). Participants who fulfilled the terms and conditions will be granted a 100% penalty
remission based on taxes disclosed and paid within the program period, which runs from 01
June 2023 to 31 May 2024.

The purpose of this document is to provide a guide for the company/individual to used the
system. This document covers on the registration and application module only.

2.1 New User Registration

The system is a web based and can be accessed at http://myvdp.customs.gov.my. It is open


for the company/individual to register and join the program (figure 1.1) .

2.1.1 First Time Login

✓ Click on Applicant Registration button to register (figure 1.2) .

✓ Fill up the form and click Register (figure 1.3 & 1.4) .

✓ User will be notify via email and ready to log to the system (figure 1.5).

2.1.2 Login as Registered User

✓ Key in username and password as stated in the email and click Login button

✓ Registration Successful message on top of login screen and change password


screen will be displayed (figure 1.6).

✓ User are required to change password upon login to the system (Figure 1.7 & 1.8)

2.2 Application

2.2.1 Application Tab ( Business Details Section)

✓ Fill up all Business Details section and click Next button (Figure 1.9).

✓ On the Declaration Details, fill up applicable fields and click Add button

2.2.2 Declaration

✓ Tick the acknowledgement checkbox and fill up the Name, Designation and MyCard
Number before click Submit button (rajah 1.11).

✓ User will be notify via email the status of their application (figure 1.11).
✓ All applications will be displayed on the dashboard.

✓ To amend the draft, click on Edit Application and continue edit the form (figure 1.12).
