ASSIGNMENT#1

HORIZONTAL
parallel to the plane of the horizon; at right angles to the vertical.

VERTICAL
at right angles to a horizontal plane; in a direction, or having an alignment, such that the top is
directly above the bottom.

BROKEN LINE
a line composed of a series of dashes. often : a guide line painted in dashes on a highway to
indicate a stretch on which a driver may lawfully cross the midline of the way (as in passing
another vehicle)

DOTTED
a line made up of dots or dashes (often used in reference to the space left for a signature on a
contract).

ZIGZAG
a line or course having abrupt alternate right and left turns.

SPIRAL
winding in a continuous and gradually widening (or tightening) curve, either around a central
point on a flat plane or about an axis so as to form a cone.

CURVE
a line or outline which gradually deviates from being straight for some or all of its length.
