    DESCRIBE A PLACE (A BUILDING)

    1. Describe a quiet place you often visit


    You should say:
    Where it is
    When you like to go there
    What you usually do there
    Why you like to visit there
    ANSWER
    - Introduction:
    I’m not an extroverted person so normally, I prefer staying at home rather than going
    out. However, there’s a coffee shop that I visit regularly and that’s what I’m gonna talk
    about today.
    - Where it is
    The cafe is called Flower and it's located on the rooftop of a 30-story building in the
    heart of the city. It’s just a stone’s throw from my house, so it’s really convenient for
    me to drop by whenever I have free time
    - When you like to go there and what you do there
    It’s a bookshop café, which means that it’s an ideal place to work or relax in a quiet
    manner. I go there almost every other Sunday just to concentrate on my work or to read
    an interesting book that I’ve just come across.
    - Why you like to spend time there
    What impresses me the most about this coffee shop is its floor-to-ceiling windows that
    offer panoramic views over the city. You can see houses after houses stretching away
    to the horizon, which is really relaxing. That’s the reason why I love spending time
    there.
    I can’t stand the excessive noise of the city so I really appreciate the tranquil atmosphere
    in this café, which helps put my mind at ease. You know, living in such a busy
    metropolis like Hanoi, a quiet corner is a luxury.

    2. Describe a place with lots of facilities

    You know, I’m a sports enthusiast so I do exercise and play sports on a regular
    basis. That’s the reason why I usually go to a sports center near my house and
    that’s what I’m gonna talk about today.
    - Where it is
    The sports center is located on the 30th floor of a building which is in the heart of my
    city. It’s just a stone’s throw from my house, so it’s really convenient for me to drop
    by whenever I have free time
    - What facilities it has

    The center specializes in running so there are a range of running machines for people to
    do a warm-up before the exercise.
    It also has a gym, a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor football pitches, courts for
    tennis, so on and so forth.
    There’s also a large area dedicated to sports clothing for many types of sports, with
    various styles and prices.

    - How often you go there

    As I said earlier, I go to this center almost every day, maybe 5 times a week.

    - And explain why you like to go there

    What impresses me the most about this center is its floor-to-ceiling windows that offer
    panoramic views over the city. This means that you can see houses after
    houses stretching away to the horizon while you’re doing workout, which is really
    relaxing. That’s the reason why I love spending time there.
    3. Describe a café you like to visit
