B. Motivation
(The teacher will play video on how to draw a (The students will observe the steps in constructing
perspective drawing) perspective drawing)

Class what do you observe? Sir! The drawing has start by putting some lines

Another answer? Sir! I have noticed that the view in the drawing
That’s right! Using perspective drawing, we can becomes smaller.
see the actual view of the place when it goes far.

Now let’s proceed to our next lesson.

C. Lesson Proper
( The teacher will discuss the Perspective
drawing)

Perspective Drawing is a pictorial drawing

which contains receding lines that converge at
vanishing points on the horizon. This drawing is
also called as “foreshortened drawing”.

Principles of Perspective Drawing:

1. All receding lines converge on a vanishing point.
2. The farther the color, the lighter it appears.
3. The farther the object, lines, edges, the smaller it
appears.
4. The object can be viewed in terms of bird’s eye
view, eye level, and ants view.
(see figure 1, 2, 3).
5. The vanishing point can be located anywhere as
long as the object will not be
distorted. For the two-point perspective, the two
vanishing points must be aligned
to each other.

Types of Perspective Drawing

1. One-point or parallel perspective – is a
receding line that converges on a single vanishing
point.
2. Two-point or angular perspective – is a
receding line that converges on two vanishing
points.
3. Three-point perspective – is a receding line that
converges on three vanishing points.

D. Application ( The students will do the activity)

(The teacher will ask students to draw a Perspective
drawing)
( The teacher will provide the printed guides)

E. Generalization

DIRECTIONS: Answer the following questions

below.
1. What is perspective drawing? Sir! Perspective Drawing is a pictorial drawing
2. What are the types of perspective drawing? which contains receding lines that converge at
vanishing points on the horizon.

Sir! The three types are One-point, Two-point and

Three-point perspective drawing.
Very Good!

Do you have any questions? None Sir!

F. Evaluation

DIRECTIONS: TRUE OR FALSE:

_____1. Angular perspective drawing uses two

vanishing points.
_____2. One- point perspective drawing is also
called as perpendicular perspective
drawing.
_____3. The farther the color, the darker it appears.
_____4. All receding lines converge on a vanishing
point.
_____5. In man’s eye view, object is viewed within
the eye level of the observer.

Answer Key:
1. TRUE
2. FALSE
3. FALSE
4. TRUE
5. TRUE

G. Assignment
Draw. Create a one-point perspective drawing
using the letters of your name.
(The teacher will send a video of steps on how to
draw a one-point perspective using names)
