➢ The test is 32 questions; 57 points possible (therefore, some questions are worth more points than others!)
➢ Study the PPT Notes, Charts, Canvas Assignments, and Study Guide to prepare for the test.
➢ The test will have a 90 minute time limit… basically you have the whole block to finish it
➢ You cannot take the test at home just because you are absent. WHY? Because I do not want students skipping my
class on test days so they can take their test at home aka CHEAT
• Be able to pick out the IV, DV, hypothesis, and constants for a problem
▪ Go to your Canvas Modules and look over the assignment you completed
called “Scientific Investigations Practice” to help you.
• Know the monomer, polymer, elements, function, and examples of the 4 macros (carb, lipid,
protein, & nucleic acid – this is SOOOO many questions of the test. Study your foldable. Look
over your notes. Make flash cards, etc.
• IF YOU DON’T KNOW YOUR MACROS, YOU WILL NOT DO WELL AT ALL!!
▪ Maybe even use your Macromolecules Quiz that you took in Canvas to help you!!
• Be sure you know what each macro looks like – you will be given the image and then have to
match a description to the correct picture! Once again, SOOOO important to know …..

• and examples of each macro.. along with what the macros look like

• Know how macros are broken down for energy (which is broken down 1st, 2nd, and last)
