ACTIVITY SHEET # 1
2. As a student what are the significant message of Our Lady of La Salette and how do
you relate this message to your call today as a Christian?
As a student, the significant message of our Lady La Sallete is being a prudent and wise
woman. He is chosen by God to be the mother of the Son of God. She represents the meaning of
responsibility and devotion. Today, we Christians have been fulfilling the duties that God has
given to us. It is to build a strong foundation of faith and be able to spread the good news through
evangelization.
3. If you are Maximin or Melanie how do you spread the good news of Our Lady of La
Salette to others especially now that we are experiencing the crisis of COVID 19 pandemic?
If I were Maximin and Melanie, I will spread the good news of our Lady La Salette to
others especially now that we are experiencing the crisis of Covid 19 is that to bring the message
which contains reliable and filtered messages. To bring factual and honest information to other
people.
4. Explain how you will put into practice our Core Values in our University. Give
example/situation in each core value.
1. RECONCILIATION- God loves and forgives us, and the sacrament of reconciliation
brings this gift of forgiveness into the sinner's life. We have been restored to a right
relationship with God. We are rendered whole and holy by the cleaning of our sins and
guilt. It can provide joy, healing, excitement, and a sense of renewed attachment
because it encourages reconciliation with God and brings peace and consolation as
effects of its dispensation to those who receive it with a contrite heart.
2. FAITH- Having faith is the same as having trust. You must believe with your entire
being that God has your back and will help and protect you. He knows what is best for
you, but you must fully trust him in order to fully embrace what he has prepared for
you. Our faith is not folly, for our God is both faithful and good. According to God's
Word, we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, not by our own efforts or
works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace by herself. Only faith. Grace alone means that God
loves, forgives, and saves us because of Christ's act, not because of who we are or what
we do.
3. INTEGRITY- Practicing integrity will transform you into someone with "trustworthy
words." Regardless of how difficult it may appear, practicing what is right and
acceptable before God can grant you access to God's favor, kindness, security, and
guidance. Transparency and integrity guarantee that resources are used effectively and
that community members have access to health care, education, and security. An ethical
society serves its people and provides them with the resources they need to succeed now
and in the future.
4. EXCELLENCE- Students at Catholic schools learn that brilliance is a response to
God's benefits. Students in Catholic schools learn to foster their potential and accept the
gifts and individuality of all individuals by pursuing the growth of spirit, intellect, and
body.
5. SOLIDARITY- Solidarity is the virtue that allows the human family to completely
share the riches of temporal and spiritual benefits. The notion of solidarity in Catholic
social teaching is about recognizing others as our brothers and sisters and actively
striving for their good. We are asked to create relationships in our connected humanity
in order to comprehend what life is like for individuals who are different from us.
Philosophy of Education
1. What is your philosophy in life?
My philosophy in life is simple, life must go on, go achieve your dreams as long as you pray and have
faith to yourself. "In three words, I can sum up everything I have learned about life: it goes on," Robert Frost
said. When someone dies, life continues. When you have a disagreement, life continues on. If there is one
thing I have learned about life, it is that it carries on regardless of what happens. I am convinced that life
continues with you here or in space. This principle has shaped me into the person I am today. This concept is
supported by a way of life. I've realized that life will either continue with me sitting here moping or with me
learning from my mistakes; I'd prefer life continue with me learning from my mistakes and moving on. I
believe that life will continue to progress. I need to get on board and stop worrying about the minor details.
Life is lovely, but it is not always easy; it has problems, too, and the task is to face them with courage,
allowing the beauty of life to work as a salve, making the pain bearable during difficult times by bringing
hope.My coin has two sides: happiness and sorrow, success and loss, and day and night. Similarly, life is
filled of moments of joy, pleasure, success, and comfort interspersed with moments of misery, defeat,
failure, and difficulty. There is no human being on Earth who has not endured, struggled, pain, or failure, no
matter how strong, powerful, wise, or wealthy they are.
Difficulties put a person's courage, patience, perseverance, and true character to the test. Adversity
and sufferings strengthen a person and prepare them to handle life's problems with calm. There is no
denying that there can be no benefit without suffering. Only through toiling and sweating it out can success
be fed and perpetuated. The thorns remind one of how elusive success and happiness may be, and thus rather
of feeling dissatisfied and dejected, remember that the agony of thorns is temporary, and the beauty of life
will soon surpass the prick of thorns.
Vision
1. How can you promote reconciliation with yourself, others, nature, and God?
First and foremost, we must be reconciled to God, and this process continues throughout our
lives. We were initially reconciled to God by believing in Christ, then we were brought into God by our
regeneration. But every day, in all aspects of our lives and activities, we are being reconciled to God by
being drawn deeper into God! Being reconciled to God entails not just being brought back to God in
peace, but also being brought into God and made one with God. This is what God desires: to bring man
into God and make him one with God, and then to organically commission this man-mingled-with-God
to bring others into God's presence.
2. How can reconciliation promote peace and unity in present community today?
Reconciliation is the long-term process through which the parties to a violent conflict gain trust,
learn to coexist, and establish a stable peace. It can occur at the individual, communal, and national
levels. It can help build bridges between opposing parties and restore shattered connections. It has the
potential to interrupt the cycle of violence, aid in post-traumatic reconciliation, create a more peaceful
common future, and eventually preserve peace.
Mission
1. What is your mission as salettinian in the near future?
My mission as Salettinian in the near future as in Architecture is to provide quality service with
good deeds and principles that promote good relationships to my clients. I would also like to promote and
help to the children to teach and to become a volunteer in an education program. I am really passionate in
helping these children who cannot provide for their education because of poverty. I would like to raise
funds to sustain the needs like school supplies and uniforms.
2. How can your mission influence the society?
Doing good for strangers fosters cooperation, trust, and a sense of safety in our communities. It also
allows us to perceive others in a more favorable light and empathize with them. These are the pillars of a
thriving local community and a flourishing society, which promotes overall well-being. Helping others is
not only beneficial to others, but it also makes us happier and healthier, and in some situations, it can
reduce stress levels. Giving brings us closer to others, builds communities, and contributes to a happy
society for everybody.
