Label all the parameters. [4 Marks] 1C) Calculate the efficiency for the machine at full load, 0.85 power factor lag. [4 Marks} 1D) From which side (HV or LY) OC test is conducted? Why? It has 4-pole, 944 wave connected armature conductors. At a certain load, the flux per pole is 20 mWb and the total mechanical torque developed is 209 N-m. Find the speed corresponding to the above load. [5 Marks] 2) A230 V DC shunt motor has an armature resistance of 0.5 Q and a field resistance of 115 @. At no load the speed is 1200 rpm and the armature current is 2.5 Amperes. On application of rated load the speed drops to 1120 rpm. Determine the following when the motor delivers the rated load: 2A) Electromagnetic torque developed 2B) Meckanical power developed and corresponding efficiency (Ignore losses) i [10 Marks} 3) A 200 V de shunt motor takes 10 A when running on no-load. A 6pole, 50 Hz, 3-phase induction motor runs at 960 rpm on full load with a rotor current of 35 A and rotor resistance per phase 0.2.0. Find the mechanical power developed. [5M] 5. A 3 phase, 50 Hz, wound rotor induction motor has per-phase values of rotor resistance and stand still rotor reactance of 0.06 Q and 0.3 Q respectively..
