Mosquito coils as Lanzones peelings

Racho, Erick and Galope Ramos (n.d.) stated that more and more
mosquitoes are swarming around us during this time of year, and some of
them are carrying the dengue virus, which, if ignored, can also be fatal to
humans. Insect repellents are just one of the many options we have to
prevent getting bitten by these insects. Many researchers are currently
examining potential substitutes for metals that can be used to create coils.
Many have already found that there are additional plants that can be used
as ingredients to make insect repellents.
Emam, Ifathie (n.d.) also stated that lanzones peelings are reported to offer
mosquito-repelling qualities, making them appropriate for use in mosquito
coils. After drying in the sun, the lanzones peelings' color changed from
light brown to dark brown. You may repel mosquitoes and other insects
using a mosquito coil constructed from lanzones peelings while reducing
environmental pollution. It can fit into small residences and doesn't require
any extra equipment to use—just a light source. Dried peelings from
lanzones could be used in place of a coil to repel mosquitoes. Since we
didn't use any dangerous chemicals in our mosquito coil, it is safer to use
than the commercially available one. It is also portable. In addition to being
environmentally friendly, I suggest this product to everyone because it is
also cheaper and simpler to prepare than other katol products. Dried
peelings from lanzones could be used in place of a coil to repel mosquitoes.
Since we didn't use any dangerous chemicals in our mosquito coil, it is
safer to use than the commercially available one.
Grutas, Ana, Marzan , Leojane, Rusiana , Joann, Santos, Anthony and
Siahaan, Waldemar (2004) reported that this research found that Lanzones
peel's effectiveness as an insect repellent is comparable to that of
commercially available "katol," which is one of the most extensively used
and well-liked insecticide vaporizers.

Notes
In this time of the year, more and more mosquitoes are swarming in our
surroundings, and now some mosquitoes have a virus called dengue that can also
kill a person if not treated. There are already many things we can use to avoid
being bitten by this insects and one of those are mosquito repellants. One kind of a
mosquito repellant is a katol or coil in English.
Some have discovered that other plants are also available materials in making
mosquito repellants. There are also other uses of plants than just food, shelter and
nutrition but also a protection against harmful insects.

Mosquito coil made from lanzones peelings lets you drive away mosquitoes and
other insects, in a way that doesn’t add to environmental pollution. It doesn’t need
special equipment to use it other than just lighting it up and it is portable and can
fit into small houses. I recommend this product to everyone not only because it’s
environmental friendly but also cheaper and easy to make than other katol brands.
I also learned that the lanzones dried peelings could be an alternative as a mosquito
coil. It is safer to use than the commercialized one since we didn’t use any
hazardous chemical in our mosquito coil.

This study revealed that the effect of Lanzones peel as repellant is comparable to
commercially availabe "katol" which is considered the most popular and widely
used insecticide vaporizers.
