MISS SAN JUN 2023 CORONATION RITES

PART I.
Host: To formally start tonight’s celebration, may we request for everyone to
stand and bow their heads, and feel the presence of the Lord. Please remain
standing for this will be followed by the singing of the Philippine national anthem.

Prayer and singing of the National Anthem

Host: You may now be seated. As part of the Barangay San Juan tradition,
we annually conduct Search for Miss San Juan in order to raise funds and bring
every San Juanon together with our dearest guests closer together. In line with this,
may we call on our ever supportive and industrious Punong Barangay, Barangay
Captain Mario P. Aticaldo to welcome us with his message. A round of applause
please.

Welcome Address

Host: Thank you, PB Mario Aticaldo for the inclusive and warm welcome
address. At this moment, we are also honored to have Honorable Atty. Paul R. Daza,
First District Representative to share us his words of wisdom and inspiration. A
round of applause please.

Message

Host: Thank you so much for that astounding insights and message
Congressman Paul Daza. We know that most of you that are here tonight are waiting
with much anticipation with the climax of this event. But before we get there, here is
Ms. Aiza Collamar, a Certified Public Accountant, and also this year’s Hermana
Mayor to shower us with her gratifying message and appreciation. A round of
applause please.

Host: Thank you, Ms. Aiza Collamar for your message to our fellow San
Juanons and to our guests, and also for hosting as this year’s hermana mayor.

ENTRANCE AND ENTOURAGE

4TH RUNNER UP
Host: Ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves for this year’s Miss San
Juan 4th Runner-Up, Ms. Carine Rosadino. Born on March 26, 2005 and raised here
at our beloved barangay. She is the daughter of Mr. Guillermo G. Rosadino and Mrs.
Cyrine H. Collamar. Her proud grandparents are Mrs. Editha Rosadino and the late
Mr. Bautista Rosadino. As for the present, she is currently residing here at Barangay
San Juan, Lavezares N. Samar. She is the third child among her three other siblings.
She vibes in her favorite song That’s What Friends Are For by
____________________. She finds it amusing to watch her favorite local movie,
Unmarried Wife, and she prefers Red to be her favorite color. During her elementary
education, she finished and a product of San Juan Elementary School and is
awarded as one of the Most Cooperative Student among her batch. She is pursued
her secondary education at Guillermo C. Adriatico National Highschool at Brgy.
Maravilla, Lavezares, N. Samar with the awards of being a Class Achiever and
having Perfect Attendance. As a young San Juanon lady she is, she firmly believes
in the saying that ‘If you can dream it, then you can do it.” Once again, this year’s
Miss San Juanon 4th Runner-Up is Ms. Carine Rosadino.

3rd RUNNER UP
Host: The following lady gracing us with her beauty and charm tonight is no
other than Ms. Judith Jane Sabonsolin Orsal as this year’s Miss San Juan 3 rd
Runner-Up. Ms. Judith Jane was born on January 24, 2001 at Quezon City, Manila.
Her proud parents ar Mr. Joey Viva Orsal and Mrs. Julita Sabonsolin Orsal. She is
the granddaughter of Mr. Marlon Viva Orsal and Mrs. Gloria Baylon Orsal. She is the
eldest among her siblings. She is currently a resident here at Brgy. San Juan,
Lavezares Northern Samar. In her young adulthood, she finds fulfillment and joy
being a volunteer and reading Wattpad as her hobbies. She likes to watch movies
that are Romance Comedy themed and likes to listen to KPOP songs specifically
Life Goes On by BTS, she finds black to be the perfect fit for her personality and is
her favorite color. She is a product of San Juan Elementary School during her
elementary education by which she received an award with honors. She then
proceeded her secondary education at Colegio de San Juan Samar achieving with
flying colors. She is now an incoming Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
at Biliran Province State University, at Naval Biliran. As a young woman that she is,
she stands by the saying “Honor the seas that you swim, the land that you step in,
and the air that you breathe, for life is too short to be selfish and ungrateful” as her
motto in life. Ladies and gentlemen, our Miss San Juan 3 RD Runner-Up.

2nd RUNNER-UP
Host: Ladies and gentlemen, this year’s Miss San Juan 2 nd Runner-Up is Ms.
Mara Teuluex.

1st RUUNER-UP
Host: Prepare your eyes as Ms. Claris Ferguson walks us with her beauty
and charm as this year’s Miss San Juan 1 st Runner-Up. She was born on March 17,
2002 here at our beloved island Brgy. San Juan, Lavezares N. Samar. She is the
daughter of Mr. Warlito Ferguson Sr. and Mrs. Evelyn Ferguson. As graceful and
astonishing that she is, she passes her time watching informative videos, reading
books, baking, and cooking. Her favorite song was the rendition of Maybe The Night
by Ben and Ben and she prefers blue to be her favorite color. She finds inspiration
and entertainment watching 7 Sundays as her favorite movie. Ms. Claris Ferguson
finished her education her at San Juan Elementary and School as class achiever,
and pursued her secondary education at Basilio B. Chan Memorial Agricultural and
Industrial School garnering an award as class achiever. She is currently pursuing her
tertiary education at Colegio de San Juan Samar as an incoming 4 th year studnt
taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education. And at a young age, she already
represented Barangay San Juan in bigger stage as a delegate last Mutya ng
Lavezares that was previously held last January. As a student and a young lady that
she is, she firmly stands on the saying that “Do the best you can until you know
better. Then when you know better, do better” as her motto in life. Ladies and
gentlemman once again, I give you Ms. Claris Ferguson as Miss San Juan 1 st
Runner-Up.

Host: Before we witness this year’s Miss San Juan, let us give way for the
past young woman who once strut down with grace and charm. Ladies and
gentlemen, let us once again welcome Miss San Juan 2018, no other than Miss Lyn
Ferguson as she walks once more bearing the title one last time. A round of
applause please.
MISS SAN JUAN 2018 ENTOURAGE

Host: And now, the moment that we all have been waiting for, prepare to be
amused and applause for this year’s Miss San Juan 2023 Queen, Ms. Abegail
Edullantes Labasbas. A round of applause please. She was born on January 06,
2003 here at our very own island, Brgy. San Juan Lavezares N. Samar. Ms. Abegail
Labasbas is th charming daughter of Mr. Fernando Jatap Labasbas and Mrs.
Rosalyn Edullantes Labasbas. Without doubt, her proud grandparents are Mr.
Alberto Labasbas and Mrs. Felicitas Labasbas. She is the eldest among her siblings.
She is currently residing here at barangay San Juan and spends most of her time
watching Netflix and VivaMax movies and shows. She vibes in the song Love by
Keyshia Cole and Endlessly by Alina Baraz. Her favorite movie is The Mother
starring Jennifer Lopez. And personally prefer the colors black and white as her
favorite. Looking at her educational attainment, she finished her elementary
education here at San Juan Elementary School with an award as with honors, and
then proceeded to pursue her secondary education in Balara Highchool at Balara
Quezon City being an academic awardee as well. She is now currently an
accountancy student. Despite her young age, she firmly believes in the saying that in
order to be happy, we should live life for the hope of it all. Ladies and gentlemen, we
present to you Ms. Abegail Edullantes Labasbas as this year’s Miss San Juan
Queen. Let’s give her a loud and cheerful round of applause please.

FAREWELL WALK AND ROYAL DANCE

Host: Let us all witness Ms. Lyn Ferguson as Miss San Juan 2018 for her
final walk. Thank you for your inestimable support and appreciation to our beloved
island to our patron Saint, Senor San Juan. A round of applause please everybody.
Host: At this juncture, be charmed and pleased as our candidates together
with Miss San Juan 2023 graces the dance floor for their royal walk and dance
entourage.
Host: Thank you our dearest ladies. At this moment, a homage presentation
will be given to us by our very own selected SJES pupils. A round of applause
please.
Host: Thank you for that energetic presentation. To give us his inspirational
talk, may we call on our ever generous and supportive Mayor, Honorable Edito B.
Saludaga for his words of wisdom.
Host: Thank you Mayor for that motivating and heart-warming message. At
this point, to formally close the first part of tonight’s celebration, we welcome our
Parish Pastoral Vice-President Mr. Nelson T. Bacalando for his closing remarks.
Host: Thank you so much, Sir. And that is the end of tonight’s first part of the
event. Prepare your feet to dance and sing for the second part of tonight’s event.
With both honor and privilege, we extend our deepest appreciations and felicitations
to everyone who extended their generous hearts for tonight’s celebration, as well to
all San Juanons and to guests who watched and celebrated with us. To Senor San
Juan and to the Almighty Lord for His blessings and grace for our dearest barangay.
