Case Overview
In the following case, 2 characters are discussed,
Rachel and Monica, who work in wanderlust travel,
an incentive travel and event management company.
Both have delivered their work effectively and
diligently. Moving further in case their work and
figures are discussed. An annual bonus is to be
assigned to both of them keep their performance in
mind, as a manager you have to take a call for the
fair allocation of bonus and ensuring the decision
doesn't affect the performance of employees
further.

The bonus has been distributed in
accordance with the performance of both
the employees concerned. Rachel would
receive $35000 and Monica would receive
$25000. This has been done, keeping in
mind the performance and the value added
by the employee to the company

As discussed about the factors affecting
bonus, So for the distribution of bonus we
have seen that Rachel generates higher
revenue among all agents. So, out of 60,000
we will allocate 35,000 to Rachel and 25,000
to Monika.

As far as Monika's case is concerned we have
seen her growth and the level of enthusiasm
she has shown. She is getting bonus for the
same and will get recognition from company's
side.

If we can see mathematically the growth
percentage of Monika is more than Rachel. As
Rachel is getting 35,000 where she was on
25,000 it means a growth of 40% while Monica is
getting 25,000 while she was on 15,000 which
comprises of 66.66% growth. This growth
defines the value of Monica in the company.
