IELTS Discuss Both Views Question

There are differing views on whether professionals such as doctors and engineers should be required to work in the country where they received their training or be allowed to work anywhere. Some believe working in their home country allows them to best apply their specialized regional knowledge and skills. However, others argue professionals need flexibility to work globally given increased travel and how diseases can spread, so they are available wherever needed to respond to situations. The essay discusses both perspectives but ultimately concludes each view has merits and a customized approach is best to meet regional needs.

DISCUSS BOTH VIEWS

Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required
to work in the country where they did their training. Others believe they should be free to
work in another country if they wish.

Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

INTRODUCTION

- Third-Person Perspective :
It has become controversial where experts, such as doctors and engineers are suggested to work in the area
where they received their training while others believe that they should be allowed to work in any country
they expected.

- Hook :

This essay will discuss whether professionals should have worked in the country where they received
training or be free to work in their expected country.

BODY 1 (working in their country)

- The idea of the first view :

Firstly, many people claims that professionals should be required to work in the country due to the
adaptability skills and regional knowledge that they received in their area. With the knowledge acquired, it
can be implemented and used more effectively and efficiently.

- Example :
For instance, countries with a high humidity often come in contact with diseases like Malaria. Doctors, who
are trained in these areas, should be able to cure patients faster and more precise. For these reasons,
working in an environment that they are familiar with could lead to a positive cause.

BODY 2 (Working Overseas)

- The Idea of the Second View

Secondly, i believe that these experts should also be allowed to work in other regions of their choice. As the
world is developing faster and travelling from one country to another is possible enough to spread a
pandemic disease. Thus, experts are highly needed to be mobile and ready to commute to anywhere across
the countries.

- Example
For example, when a tourist is diagnosed to have Malaria on their arrival in any country, they would need
medical specialist to cure them on the spot. For these reasons, i believe that they should be able to work
anywhere that they are needed in order to anticipate dangers.

CONCLUSION

To sum up, the issue regarding the workplace for professionals, such as doctors and engineers
causes split in Opinions, and each of them possessed positive points and i believe that each point
should be customised to meet the regional needs.
