Chapter 1: Working Principle

1.1 Introduction

DM0412S clinical centrifuge support applications with small sample volumes, the centrifuge is
widely used in medical and veterinary practices for the centrifugation of blood and urine samples,
in environmental analyses for the clarification of water and soil samples or in universities and
other research institutes.

Fig.1 is the schematic diagram of centrifuge DM0412S，There is function buttons, adjustable

knob and display LCD screen on instrument control panel; Power switch, power interface on the
back of instrument; After properly connect the power cord and turn on power switch, users set
experimental conditions on the control panel by function button and adjustable knob.

Chapter 2: Removal and Installation of Instrument

When instrument failure occurs, first, you should conduct a failure analysis; if the failure is
caused by the damage of instrument hardware, the related component must be repaired or
replaced. Here are the relevant contents of the replacement and disassembly of instrument.

2.1 Removal

Tool：Cross screwdriver, Diagonal Pliers, Allen key, socket spanner

 Step 1:

Pressed the button marked by red

circle to open the door.

Step 2:

As the left figure shown, take off the

silicone cap of rotor, remove the fix
screw marked by red circle, then take
off the rotor.

Step 3:

Remove the shaft pin (1) and washer

(2), keep them well, then close the
door.

 Step 4

Turn the instrument upside down,

remove the 4 screws marked by red
circle, take off the rubber feet and
keep them well.

Step 5:

Place the instrument level, open the

cover, plug out the connectors marked
by red circle, take away the cover.

2.3 Replacement of driver board

Remove the 4 screws marked by

rec circle and keep them well, plug
out the connectors marked by red
circle, replace the driver board,
then assemble in sequence.

2.4 Replacement of master control board

Tear off the face-plate membrane,

remove the 3 screws marked by
red circle and keep them well,
then replace the
Master control board and
assemble in sequence.

2.5 Replacement of brake resistor
Remove the screw, plug out the
connector marked by red circle,
then replace the brake resistor,
assembled in sequence.

2.6 Replacement of motor

Step 1：

Plug out the connector marked by

red circle, remove the 3 screws
marked by red circle and keep
them well. Then replace the
motor.

Note: when you disassemble the

motor, as shown on the left figure,
please fix the flange plate of
shock absorbers by pincer or
adjustable spanner, then loosen
screw, to avoid shock absorbers
are broken.

2.7 Replacement of speed sensor

Step 1:

Pull up the speed sensor carefully

marked by red circle.

Step 2;

Unplug the sensor connector,

then replace it.

2.8 Replacement of door lock assemble

Step 1:

Remove the 2 screws mark by

Red circle, take off the door lock
and replace it.

 Step 2:

Remove the 2 screws marked by

red circle, replace the door lock
micro switch.
