If you’re planning on visiting Australia, the chances are you’ve researched
numerous things to do when you’re there. The problem is, Australia is a
huge country with a lot of attractions and activities to get stuck into, so it’s
difficult to know where to start when you’re putting together your itinerary

you must do when you’re in the land down under.

1. Snorkel or Dive the Great Barrier Reef


The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s most incredible natural
wonders which makes it an absolute must-do while you’re in Australia.

or scuba diving and get to know the colourful marine life that characterises
this part of the world.
2. Drive the Great Ocean Road to Get a Photo at the 12 Apostles
The Great Ocean Road is a beautiful stretch of coastline that has
numerous exciting monuments and attractions, the most famous of which
is probably the 12 Apostles. Travel along the wild route to experience this
scenery, stunning sea views and get a photo taken at the incredible 12
Apostles.
3. Get a Quokka Selfie on Rottnest Island
Quokkas are one of Australia’s cutest creatures, and you can get up close
and personal with them on Rottnest Island. Cycle around the unique
landscape and keep your eyes open for little Quokkas to take a selfie with
as you go.
4. Go for a Swim at Bondi
Bondi Beach is probably one of the most famous beaches in the world. Here,
you can surf with the best of them, kick back (relax) and relax on the
untouched stretch of sand, or go for a dip (=go for a swim) in the stunning
ocean.
5. Watch the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island
Phillip Island is a haven (пристанище) of wildlife, and one of the most
spectacular scenes to see is the Penguin Parade which takes place every
evening as the colony of Little Penguins come ashore (на берег) from their
day of fishing.
6. Walk in the Daintree Rainforest
The Daintree Rainforest boasts some of the country’s most mesmerizing

7. Cruise Around Sydney Harbour
Sydney Harbour is home to some of the most iconic architecture in the world,
including the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Hop on a
cruise around the Harbour to explore all of this and more.
8. Walk the Base of Uluru
Get to know Australia’s most iconic natural monument as you take a walk
around its base, learning more about the Aboriginal history that lies in the
landscape.
9. Drink Some Aussie Wine
Head to one of Australia’s premier wine regions like the Hunter Valley, Yarra
Valley, Margaret River, Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale to try some of the
country’s famous tipple (=alcoholic drink).
10. See the Jumping Crocodiles
Cruise along the Adelaide River and experience the unique display of
Jumping Crocodiles as they search for food.
