Instructions:

• Read all instructions carefully

• This is a group assignment ; individual assignments will not be marked

• Each group should consist of between 4-6 members. Students are free to organize

themselves into groups in any form or manner so longer the membership numbers are met

• The questions are to be divided amongst the group members on condition that each

member gets at least one complete question (not subquestion).

• The assignment is to be submitted as one document but each member writes for

themselves the questions they have been allocated in their own handwriting and sign

at the end of the question.

• A member who does not attempt and sign a question gets 0%, there are no sleeping

partners.

• Every assignment should have the following information in the front page: Name, student

number, group number and the course code of each group member. The group should

also indicate which venue they will submit the tutorial for ease of tracking.

• Assignments will be submitted to the tutors by 1600hrs on Friday 14 August 2015 except for

the Elec evening class who will submit after their tutorial on Saturday. Please be

considerate as the tutors will have to leave at the end of the tutorial

• All assignments submitted after the deadline will receive a deduction of 20% and there will

be no exception. If you have a practical on Friday then submit the assignment before

the tutorial. All assignments will be marked in Mr Hove’s office.

• All group members will get the same mark so it is important for the group members

to work together and achieve a reasonable performance. It is advisable to consult the

Tutorial Manual.

• NB: The scope of the assignment is the same as the scope of Semester Test 1!
