their safety and security. It is better to be safe than sorry.

 Procurement of Supplies
As modular distance learning was implemented, modules became the learner’s guide
in each lesson, so MES assures for having the supplies for module reproduction.

 Donations
Reams/ boxes of bond papers, inks, printers and COVID essentials were not only
procured from MOOE fund but also sponsored by groups of generous people and our
supportive LGU. MES family was very blessed for having them and their support
most especially at this moment.

Teachers are doing their bests in reproducing modules for every learner. Aside from
self-learning modules (SLM), they also produce reading materials and other learning
activities.

 Hand Washing Facilities


A child friendly school is more than just a place for formal learning. Foremost, it is an
institution that recognizes and respects the range of rights to be educated. These rights
also include their rights to be healthy. It is a kind of environment that allows them to
grow healthy, equips them with knowledge and skills and they can use throughout life
and enables them to become responsible and productive members of their community
and society.

This project was designed to:


1. Promotes children’s health.
2. Guarantees that school buildings, grounds, and facilities are clean, healthy, and safe
with adequate water and sanitary facilities like handwashing area.
3. Has written policies and regular practices that promote good health.
4. Integrates health education and life skills development in its curriculum the
importance of having clean hands.
5. Host regular health protocols such as toothbrushing and hand washing activities.
6. Motivates them to wash their hands regularly in washing area.

With the cooperation of the parents, community, the teachers and the assistance and
support done by the principal in implementing the said project played as important
role.
This project was designed to:

1. Encourage to improve the academic performance of elementary students to equip


them with the knowledge, skills, habits, and attitudes that will make them productive.
2. Develop love for reading among elementary pupils.
3. The school children enjoyed doing activities that will result and develop effective
readers and learners leading to quality education.
4. Parents who used to stayed inside the school the whole day waiting for their children.
Make them volunteers who could help in supervising slow readers in our remedial
reading instruction session.
5. School projects must benefit all teacher/students. Provide learning and growth to
everyone.

 Installation of Converge (Internet Connection)


In this time of pandemic, seminars and trainings were turned into webinars (online
seminars/ trainings) as part of health care. Internet connection is very valuable that’s
why the school community of MES decided to have one.

 Medical and Dental Mission


Marawa Elementary School is one of the blessed chosen schools as Team Fortuner
Philippines conducted its 10th Outreach Program. They held the medical and dental
mission inside MES gym.
