The future continuous tense is used to talk about actions in progress at a certain

time
in the future. Look at the two examples of future continuous sentences below
and
answer the questions.

Complete the paragraph using the words below.

1. Won’t be staying.
2. Will be camping.
3. I will be spending.
4. We won’t be going to restaurants.
5. We will be cooking all our meals.
6. We won’t be returning.
7. I will be looking forward.
8. I will be feeling sad this summer.

Complete each sentence with the verb in brackets in the future continuous tense
using the positive or negative form as appropriate.

1. It’s my birthday soon. I'm going to be having a big party.


2. We won’t be going to school tomorrow because it's a holiday.
3. I will be cooking dinner tonight because the oven is broken.
4. Where are you going to stay when you go to London?
5. I won’t be singing in the concert because I have a sore throat.
6. The kids will be getting hungry soon. It's nearly their dinner time.
7. I don't like walking alone at night. I will be taking a taxi home.
8. I have vegans coming for dinner tonight, so I won’t be serving any meat.

Use the future continuous to complete the sentences with true information about
what you will be doing at the times shown. Then, pair up and write sentences,
guessing
what you think your partner will be doing at the same times.
