37. What is MYSQL?  Apply the suitable MYSQL code to create, Insert, update and delete
any data in given database.

MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS). Its name is

a combination of "My", the name of co-founder Michael Widenius's daughter My, and
"SQL", the acronym for Structured Query Language. A relational database organizes data
into one or more data tables in which data may be related to each other; these relations
help structure the data. SQL is a language programmers use to create, modify and extract
data from the relational database, as well as control user access to the database.
a. create database Sanjivani;
b. create table FYcomp (
rollno int,
studentname
);
c. insert into FYcomp
values (1, ‘Sanket’);

insert into FYcomp

values (2, ‘Kiran’);
d. update FYcomp
set studentname = ‘Rushikesh’
where rollno = 2;
e. delete from FYcomp
where rollno = 2;

38. Apply the MySQL to create a database name as MYDATA then create a table named
PersonalInfo with columns as Name, PRN, Rollno, Marks, Branch, Div.
Apply Select, Delete queries on created table

a. create database MYDATA;

b. create table PersonalInfo (
Name varchar (255),
PRN varchar (255),
Rollno int,
Marks int,
Branch varchar (255),
Div varchar (255));
c. select * from PersonalInfo;
d. delete from PersonalInfor
where Rollno = 2;
e. drop table PersonalInfo;

39. What is meant by Query in MySQL? Consider a suitable table and apply various types of
queries to create, select, update and delete the contents from the table.

In general terms, a query in SQL is a request to databases to fetch (or retrieve) the
information. We use a common language - SQL, to query our databases. It is used
whenever companies have a ton of data that they want to manipulate.

a. create database Sanjivani;

b. create table FYcomp (
rollno int,
studentname
);
c. insert into FYcomp
values (1, ‘Sanket’);

insert into FYcomp

values (2, ‘Kiran’);
d. select * from FYcomp;
e. update FYcomp
set studentname = ‘Rushikesh’
where rollno = 2;
f. delete from FYcomp
where rollno = 2;

40. Apply the procedure from creating a database to extracting the data in MYSQL with
suitable examples.
