The proposed cloud computing solution will facilitate the roles of the organization. The

company will utilize the power of cloud computing solutions to carry out its activities

effectively. The ability of cloud computing to lower capital expenses will be vital to the

organization in reducing the overall running costs. There will be no investment needed in

hardware such as routers, servers, and cabling, as this will be covered by the computing

resources. By embracing cloud computing, users will have an opportunity to access system

features and files without necessarily having to preserve the bulk files or information on their

respective computers.

Employees of the organization will access information related to their customers through

cloud-based CRM software such as Salesforce straight away from their smartphones or tablets

while traveling to various destinations or while relaxing at home (Elzamly et al.,2019). Once able

to access the information, they can conveniently share the same information with other

individuals anywhere globally. My report emphasizes various critical elements of cloud

computing strategy; firstly, The Cloud Strategy will align and, if possible, follow the company's

Business Strategy in question. Secondly, the proposed cloud strategy will assess the five types of

cloud-related risks to address cloud issues such as security risk, compliance risk, agility risk,

supplier risk, and agility risk (Aithal & Pai T, 2017). Any possibility of the risks must be assessed

against the advantages of the cloud strategy in a compliant way. Thirdly, a question related to the

cost of cloud computing will be vital since this is the basis for cloud adoption. The preference

should be given to the cheaper cloud; hence the question here should be whether the cloud is

more affordable or not. The cost of the cloud depends mainly on the cloud service type, and

more so, the workloads feature in any given organization situation (Al-Sharafi et al.,2017).

Fourthly, the cloud strategy will have to plan for the potential routes: Rehosting, Rebuilding, and

Refactoring.

Rehosting will be critical in moving an application with minimal effort. The minimal

change, which means reduced advantages, will be the result. Refactoring will be good in

taking advantage of services such as cloud-managed databases instead of migrating the current

databases to the cloud. The databases can be managed internally in a different place. Rebuilding

will be vital when recreating a strategic application to enable elastic scalability use and pay-per-

use cloud pricing models. Fifth, the understanding of the shared responsibility model of the

proposed cloud computing will be paramount.

The computing cloud will define the provider's responsibilities accordingly via cloud

capabilities service and features, respectively. The organizations' customers' obligation will be to

leverage the cloud service capabilities in the organization in order to elicit the desired outcomes.

Sixth, Differentiating the Three Typical approach Areas of Enterprise Cloud Adoption will be

another crucial step in my cloud strategy (Senarathna et al.,2018). These areas include adopting

cloud infrastructure platforms (CIPS), adopting software as a service (SaaS) for quick access to

modern standard functionality, and migration of current and legacy applications.

Taking a holistic view that addresses the tradeoffs between operational control and

management will be very important. The approach will need to be evaluated for every single

application deployed to cloud computing. And finally, there will be a need to Embrace the

Changing Role of the organization's IT Department. The result will be to appoint a cloud

architect, establish a cloud center, and, if possible, set up a cloud service broker group that will

liaise between cloud service providers and business stakeholders.
