Ans: 2.46 amp

2. Using the source transformation technique, determine the power absorbed by the 9.6 kΩ resistors
Ans: 0.6mW

3. Find the power supplied by the 0.5 V source for the circuit shown below. Ans: 1/6mW

4. Find the currents i1, i2 and i3 and the power delivered by the sources, using mesh current analysis, for the network
shown in Fig 2.

Ans: i1 = 2 A, i2 = 4 A, i3 = 1 A,
Power delivered by 12 V = 84 W
Power delivered by 4 V = 20 W
5. For the circuit shown in Fig. 4, determine the voltage ‘v’ using (i) mesh current and (ii) node voltage analysis.

6. Determine the value of voltage ‘V’ using (i) mesh current and (ii) node voltage analysis.

Ans: 23.05 V

7. Find the equivalent resistance (Req) in the following circuit where each resistor has the value of 100 Ω.
Ans: 275 Ω

8. Determine the current through 10 Ω resistance in the network shown in Fig. 6.

Ans: V1 = -63.53 V, V2 = 105.88 V

10. Find the value of the constant ‘K’ in the circuit shown in Fig. 8 such that the power dissipated in a 2 Ω resistor does not
exceed 50 W.
