Pre-Task: From Thursday, August 17, 2023 to Sunday, August 20, 2023

Step 1: The Virtual Course


- Explore the color-coded agenda, course presentation, rules and conditions,
syllabus, activity guides and evaluation rubrics.

- Identify the Initial Environment, Learning Environment, and Evaluation
Environment.
- Find and take note of the internal mail, forums, course director, tutor, group
number, and group mates.
- Provide a video demonstrating your exploration.

Step 2: Duolingo Practice Test


- Visit the Duolingo platform at https://englishtest.duolingo.com/applicants and
access the free practice test.
- Complete the test and obtain your results.
- Capture a screenshot of your test results for documentation purposes.
- Record and take note of the score you achieved on the test.
- Reflect on your current language level and consider how it aligns with the
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale, which
ranges from A1 (beginner) to C2 (proficient).
- Assess different aspects of your language skills, such as listening, speaking,
reading, and writing, to determine where you believe your proficiency level
falls.
