ABOUT DATASET
The dataset includes data on mobile phones from the top five most popular
brands in India: Apple, Poco, Realme, Samsung, and Xiaomi. Information like
RAM, ROM, Display Size. etc are present which distinguishes one product from
another. At least one attribute distinguishes each product. Dataset has no null
value.
Columns: There are 16 columns each having a title which is self-explanatory.
Rows: There are 430 rows each having a mobile with at least a distinct feature.
DESCRIPTION OF ATTRIBUTES
Pie charts show that Realme has the most options available. They have a wide selection of
phones to choose from in terms of specifications. However, Poco has the least number of
options. This could be because Poco is a newer brand.
According to the above bar chart, the model iPhone XR, iPhone 12, and iPhone 12 mini
have the highest levels of model-specific variance. There may be variations in the mobile's
features, cost, and color.
Additionally, this explains why Apple and Poco have less models than other manufacturers
because they have the most variations with various features.
Having 168 of the 430 mobile phones using Qualcomm CPUs, Qualcomm is the most
common CPU brand.
More over half of all mobile phones use CPUs from MediaTek and Qualcomm combined.
SREENSIZE WISE PRODUCT COUNT
The majority of mobile devices—50%—fall into the large category since they are larger than
6.35 inches.
The variety of products accessible in large and medium sizes makes other display sizes
uneven.
The preferred CPU brands for Indian consumers are Qualcomm and MediaTek.
In total, they account for more than 70% of sales.
Realme supports MediaTek, while Qualcomm is strongly backed by Xiaomi.
Average Number of Products sold per product
The bar graph indicates that any Xiaomi product, regardless of specs or colour, will sell at
least 28000 units, on average 48000.
The pie chart shows that Poco is the more popular brand
in terms of models.
UNITS SOLD VS DISCOUNT OFFERED
The scatterplot unequivocally demonstrates that there is no connection between sales and
the offered discount. This shows that genuine phone value is more important to Indian
customers than promotional offers.
With discounts as high as 40%, Samsung continually offers the most alluring offers.
Conclusions
The majority of sold phones cost between $15,000 and $20,000. To dominate this market,
Poco, Xiaomi, and Realme have done well.
