WORSHIP

Module 2 | Lesson 5
CONNECT

š If you were to boil a carrot, egg, and coffee beans in separate pots for 20
minutes in 212 °F or 100 °C, what will they look like? In the extreme heat of battles
and trials, how do you react? Do you react like:
1. A hard carrot that got so soft and weak, all wrinkled and consumed by the
hardships?
2. An egg that used to be so fragile, and has become tough like a hard-boiled
egg that lost its tenderness?
3. Or the coffee beans that changed the water and brought out the freshly
brewed aroma of coffee?
š A winner in life doesn’t only tame his tongue, overcome temptations, and learn
forgiveness. He learns to turn his toughest times into a sweet aroma of worship!
1Iwill bless the LORD at all
times;
His
praise shall continually be i
n my mouth. 2 My soul shall
make its boast in the LORD.

WORDS TO PONDER 8 Oh, taste and see that

the LORD is good;
Blessed is the
Proverbs 34:1-2, 8 NKJV
man who trusts in Him!
POINTERS

š There is power when you praise and worship God and declare His
attributes and goodness every single day.
š God says, REJOICE in the Lord, always!

You don’t have to be anxious of anything but in everything, present

your requests to Him that give you peace and wisdom in every
circumstance.
DIG DEEP

š Have you tried praising God in the midst of your fears and worries?
How did it help you?
š Why do we need to exercise the habit of rejoicing in the Lord?
š What is your immediate reaction when you’re in trouble? What is
the best thing to do in impossible situations?
LIFE APPLICATION

š Worship is like climbing a mountain. You go up giving honor to God with your
sacrifices, thanksgiving, and requests. We don’t realize that when we climb up
rejoicing and putting our trust in Him, He provides His “ram” at the other side of
the mountain. (The other side that you don’t see at all.) BUT, when you reach the
peak with faith and love, He in turn lavishes you with His presence and meets you
with His provision. (Genesis 22:13-14)
š You become more than a conqueror when you go down the valley because
now, you believe God is fighting your battles, giving you the victory in LIFE!
š In His presence, there is healing, strength, and power to persevere and live a
successful, prosperous, and GREATER LIFE!
