In an earlier treatise on the subject “waging war with divine and human stars” l wrote: “Stars have
military credentials and warfare capabilities because they are called the host of heaven; an identity
which is a military appellation. Stars fought the battle of River Kishon with Deborah against Sisera. They
are usually organized in regiments like any other military formation. They are scepters of war, battering
rams and instruments of intimidation against wicked kings. They serve as logistical support, air traffic
control and compass for those on strategic journeys. They symbolize specific aspects of the story of
redemption with the human battle axes they represent such battle axes like the virgin Mary who
symbolized the stars in the constellation of Virgo fought a good fight of faith. Stars worked in association
with angels to protect Jesus at birth. They were used as instruments of war to liberate Israel from
bondage in Egypt. They were in action during the fall of the walls of Jericho, when Haman planned to
hang Mordecai and when Pharaoh was recalcitrant about letting Israel go and thereby lost all the
firstborns of his nation’s families and animals. Stars indeed have military credentials and warfare
capabilities. We can activate them to wage wars on behalf of individuals. We can mobilize them to fight
the battles of nations. “They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera” (Judges
5:20).”

“There are twelve constellations of stars that influence the twelve cycles of every month. They are
prophetic pictures that tell the story of redemptions. They are celestial signs with deep spiritual
significance. They demonstrate the gospel message and confirm the truth of the written word. No one
can unveil the mystery of any given month without knowledge of what these stars are saying. Psalms
19:1-4 says that, “the heavens declare the purposes of God, the original realm for which He sent Jesus
on earth. The stars show forth the handiwork of the creator God. Every day they are speaking and
proclaiming the patterns and processes through which God redeemed lost mankind. Every night to
reveal the true knowledge of why Jesus died on the cross and how He is the God of the nations. Their
message is heard throughout the earth. In heavenly stars, God build a habitation for the sun as it
undertakes its circuit throughout the year. “The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament
sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There
is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth and
their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun” (Ps.19:1-4).”

“To unveil the mysteries of the first, second and third month of the Jewish calendar, we must correctly
interpret what the constellation of stars associated with these months are saying. This is the task of the
contemporary sons of Issachar who understand the times and know what the nations ought to do. I shall
show the how the sums of Issachar activated (petitioned) God to intervene in the nation of Israel based
on their understanding of the times and their ability to initiate Godly actions at relevant times and
seasons. The stars are not just physical elements. They have spiritual influences that set God’s dominion
on earth. The sun was created by God to rule the day and the moon and the stars were made to rule the
night. They are subject to man’s control and whoever understands their identities and ordinances can
manipulate them to rule the nations for good or bad. Many Jews and also Christians are ignorant of the
relationship between the stars and the monthly cycles of events. On the contrary, sorcerers and
stargazers have deep knowledge of the heavenlies which they use to practice the ungodly and occultic
pseudo-science of Astrology with its handmaid of horoscope. Their manipulation of the stars has led to
the destruction of God’s people. Many priests have rejected knowledge of the stars of redemption
planted in the heavens; God has consequently rejected them from being priests. He has also rejected
their children: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because thou has rejected knowledge, l
will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the laws of thy God, l
will also forget thy children” (Hos. 4:6). God asked Job a series of rhetorical questions to test his
knowledge of the heavens, the stars and how to enforce their dominion or rulership on earth. “Canst
thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth
Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of
heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? (Job 38:31-33). Implied in these rhetorical
questions is God’s commandment to man to know the ordinances of the heavens and how to use them
to rule the earth.”

others. Speaking on “DEPLOYING STARS TO FIGHT BASED ON THE ORDINANCE OF THE STARS”, Dr. Steve
Ogan said, “The battle for supremacy between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness in the
end-time season will be intense and fierce. Both spiritual and conventional weapons will be deployed to
gain strategic advantage at every given point in time. Already the agents of darkness have laid down
much of the spiritual infrastructure for harnessing power and controlling the destinies of individuals,
Institutions and nations. Advance planning is the name of the game. Strategic positioning to control
resource both human and material is the key objective or goal. Haman spent thirteen months consulting
his demonic agents for the appropriate time to execute the mandate of destroying all the Jews in the
realm of King Ahasuerus. He invested 10,000 talents of silver to finance his diabolical venture. This is the
equivalent of about $3,840,000,000 in today’s currency”. “The financial investments of Haman were
nothing compared to the spiritual investment he made. In all, he deployed the twelve constellations of
stars to achieve his objective of wiping out every Jew from the face of the earth. He employed sorcerers
and monthly prognosticators to determine the proper times and seasons for action. Haman’s
counterfeits seers and prophets did what the sons of Issachar should have done. They understood the
times knew what the kingdom of darkness was to do and manipulated the king to accept and join in
their diabolical plans and he did so without even knowing what he was doing. They were meticulous in
consulting the stars. They were diligent to know what to do at the “right time.” They were determined to
go to any length to mobilize the entire domain of Ahasuerus. They were committed without measure
and the stars they manipulated may have cooperated with them if Esther and Mordecai were not
available to checkmate their plans”

Deploying the stars to fight in their Courses: “The battles of this season cannot be fought effectively
without the deployment of the stars. The Bible provides a few examples of how agents of retribution and
redemption mobilized the stars for war. *Haman deployed the stars to fight the battles of two 13th days
in the 13th year of king Ahasuerus reign. *E. W. Bullinger in Numbers in Scripture writes that “Having
diligently cast the horoscope …Haman found the most favourable time for carrying out his designs as
‘the Jews’ enemy.” *Esther whose name means star, deployed the stars to fight the battle to preserve her
nation. She began her three day total fast to counteract Haman’s plans of annihilation on the 13th day of
Nisan. She activated the stars in the constellations of Aries in the season of Passover to protect and
preserve the Jewish people. *Deborah, whose name means bee, also activated the stars to fight the
battles of Israel. “They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera. The river of
Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down
strength” (Judges 5:20-21). *Joshua likewise mobilized the sun, the moon and the stars to fight in his
confrontation with Adonizedek, king of Jerusalem. “Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the
LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand
thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon
stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of
Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day”
(Joshua 10:12-13).

“*Everything that God created can both praise Him and be activated as weapons of war to fight His
enemies. “Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of
heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he
commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them forever and ever: he hath made a
decree which shall not pass… Fire, and hail: snow, and vapour: stormy wind fulfilling his word” (Psalm
148:3-6,8). *God gave Job several implied instructions on what to do to activate the ministry of the stars.
“Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? Or canst thou guide Archurus with his sons? Knowest
thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth? (Jon 38:32-33). *The
wise men, who came to worship and present prophetic gifts to Jesus at the time of his birth, unlike
Herod who wanted to kill the new born baby, were guided by the stars in the constellation of Aries to the
very place of Messiah was born. “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod
the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, where is he that is born King
of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him… The Herod, when he
had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent
them to Bethlehem, and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship
him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; and lo; the star, which they saw in the east,
went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they
rejoiced with exceeding great joy” (Matthew 2:1-2, 7-10). *God created the stars for determining times
and seasons. He numbered them and gave each one an identity so they can be activated as weapons of
war. “He telleth the number of the stars: he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of
great power: his understanding is infinite. The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to
the ground” (Psalm 147:4-6).
“The stars serve as celestial signs eternal significance. They symbolize picture prophesies of the purpose
of Jesus Christ. They signify the demonstration of the gospel message in the heavenlies. They signal the
visible realities that testify to the invisible truth. They speak and display the truth in God’s written Word
in pictorial formations. They saturate the heavens with the scenic satellites of God’s redemptive plans for
mankind and systematically tell the story of redemption for all to see throughout the twelve months on
the year. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without
excuse” (Roman 1:20). To fully comprehend how the stars can be specifically mobilized to fight the battle
of the seasons of rebellion, resistance and revolutions, let us first outline the general ordinances of the
stars”.

“The ordinances of the stars:  The ordinances of the stars are the laws that guide their function. They
determine what the stars were created to do in nature. “Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a
light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea
when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name” (Jeremiah 31:35), God ordained the stars
to:  1. Set a Pattern for the Night: “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the Heaven to
divide the day from the night: and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let
them be for lights in the firmament of the Heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God
made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the
stars also” (Genesis 1:14-16). 2. Serve as Covenant Signs and Signals: “ I shall see him, but not now: I
shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel,
and shall smite the corners of Moab and destroy all the children of Sheth” (Number 24:17). 3.Signal the
Onset of Strategic Seasons: “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened,
and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from Heaven, and the powers of the
Heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven: and then shall all
the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of Heaven with
power and great glory” (MATTHEW 24:29-30). 4.            Symbolize the Onset of Days, Months and Years:
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the Heaven to divide the day from the night; and
let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for the days, and years… And God made two great lights: the
greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also” (Genesis 1:14,
16).

“5. Signify the Development of Fresh Light or Revelation on Earth: “Lift up your eyes on high, and behold
who hath created these things, that brigeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by
the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth” (Isaiah 40:26). 6. Set God’s
Dominion in the Night Season: “To him that made great lights … The… stars to rule by night…”(Psalm
136:7-9). 7. Serve as Tokens of Celestial Warfare: ‘They fought from Heaven: the stars in their courses
fought against Sisera. The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient rive, the Kishon. O my soul, thou
has trodden down strength” (Judges 5:20-21). 8. Spell out the Birth of Agents of Redemption: “Saying,
where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship
him” (Matthew 2:2). 9. Specify the purpose or Destiny of Individuals and Institutions: ‘And Joseph
dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more… And his brethren said
to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? Or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated
him yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and,
behold, the sun and moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and
to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, what is this dream that thou hast
dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the
earth?” (Genesis 37:5, 8-10). 10. Stipulate the Redemptive Identity of Nations: “I shall see him, but not
now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of
Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. And Edom shall be a
possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies: and Israel shall do valiantly” (Number 24:17-
18). 11. Sign Prophetic Praise to the God of Creation: ‘Praise ye him, sun and moon, praise him, all ye
stars of light” (Psalm 148:3) 12. Signify the Judgment of the Earth in the End Time: “And the fourth angel
sounded and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of
the stars: so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the
night likewise” (Revelation 8:12).  Why we must rightly deploy the stars to fight the battle of this season?

Patterns for preparing the Sheepfolds of Cancer for the protection of the Messiah’s Redeemed
possessions in the fourth month of Tammuz. 1.    Activate all Creation to Render Prophetic Praise to
the one who created them:“Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in
the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise him, all ye sun and
moon: praise him, all ye star of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above
the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He
hath also stablished them forever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass” (Psalm
148:1-6). 2. Enforce God’s Covenant of Creation which gives Man Dominion over the created
order:“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and
over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God created he him; male  and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God
said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the
earth” (Genesis 1:26-28).

3. Pray that the Stars in the Constellation of Cancer will proclaim the message of protection for
God’s Covenant people “And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of
the month, the city was broken up… Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning
Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying, Take him, and look well to him, and do
him no harm: but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee” (Jeremiah 39:2, 11-12). 4. Enforce the
specific purpose for engaging in the fast of the Fourth Month: “And the word of the LORD of hosts
came unto me, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month… shall be to the
house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace. Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of
many cities: And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying. Let us go speedily to pray
before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. Yea many people and strong nations
shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. Thus saith the
LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages
of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for
we have heard that God is with you” (Zechariah 8:18-23).

5. Appropriate the Prophecy of Divine Protection given to Ebed-Melech in the Fourth month:“And in
the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the minth, the city was broken
up… These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the
judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his
neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, me, saying” (Jeremiah 39:2, 16-
18). 6. Plead with God that the Heavens will be opened in the Fourth month to unveil the Patterns of
God’s Throne: “Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month in the fifth day of the
month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw
visions of God. In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity.
The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the
Chaldeans by the river Chebar, and the hand of the LORD was there upon him… And above the
firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire
stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon
it. And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the
appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as
it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. As the appearance of the bow that
is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the
appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I felt upon my face, and I
heard a voice of one that spake” (Ezekiel 1:1-3, 26-28).

7. Declare God’s Judgment on Wicked Kings and Thrones that reject the supervision of God’s
Throne: “And in the eleventh year Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city
was broken up… Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also
the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. Moreover he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, and bound
him with chains, to carry him to Babylon. And the Chaldeans burned the king’s house, and the houses
of the people, with fire, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem” (Jeremiah 39:2, 6-8).  8. Prophesy
that the Stars in the Regiment of Cancer will Wage War against the Strange Children whose Right
Hand is in the Hand of Falsehood: “Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teachesth my hands to
war, and my fingers to fight… Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and I
they shall smoke. Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange
children; Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood” (Psalm
144:1, 5-8).

9. Proclaim the words of Psalm 91:1-7 as a Divine Oracle for the Preservation of God’s people even
in the midst of trouble: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the
shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I
trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He
shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shall thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield
and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor
for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A
thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come night thee”
(Psalm 91: 1-7). 10. Command the Heavenly Bodies to receive instruction in line with the Season of
Tammuz: “Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before
the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou,
Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had
avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood
still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. And there was no day like
that before it or after it that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for
Israel” (Joshua 10:12-14).

11. Pray that the land of Israel will become a Sheep Pen for the Preservation and Protection of Jews
and the Jewish State of Israel: “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds,
saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This Is Zion, whom no man seeketh
after. Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob’s tents, and have mercy
on his dwelling places; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain
after the manner thereof. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that
make merry; and I will multiply the, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall
not be small. Their children also shall be as a foretime, and their congregation shall be established
before me, and I will punish all that oppress them” (Jeremiah 30:17-20). 12. Ask God to send His
Ministering Angels to release every Prophetic voice incarcerated like Jeremiah in the fourth month of
Tammuz: “And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the
city was broken up… Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to
Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying. Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm;
but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee… Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court
of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he
should carry him hone; so he dwell among the people”(Jeremiah 39:2, 11-12, 14.)

13. Declare that the church and Israel will again experience the Glorious manifestations of
supernatural deliverances in their seasons of Travail: “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer
was made without ceasing of the Church unto God for him. And when Herod would have brought
him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the
keepers before the door kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a
light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying. Arise up
quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. And the angel said unto him. Gird thyself, and bind on
thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me”
(Acts 12: 5-8). One of the greatest needs in every season of tribulation is divine protection. The stars
of Cancer are programmed to ensure that God’s people are protected and preserved in times of
trouble. Their mandate is to declare the glory of the God that protects everything precious in His
sight. Their ministry is to create a conducive atmosphere for the sheep to be preserved in every
sheep pen even at the most critical or dangerous times and seasons.

The battles of Cancer in the fourth month of Tammuz and their implications for prayer and practical actions: 1. Event
God preserves the precious possessions of His sheepfold like Daniel, Jeremiah and Obed-Melech in the season of Ju

2. Events in the season of Tammuz  The Heavens were opened for the Prophet Ezekiel to see the visions of God, hear
expressly and visualize the rainbow throne at God in heaven. Implications for prayer and practical action  Pray that th

RECLAIMING YOUR STAR: ARISE AND SHINE

We have in 2 Kings 8:11-13 one of the most disturbing scenes in the Old Testament. There was a
man God had appointed to be king in Syria (1 Kings 19:15), only that this man was going to do
wicked things. In fact, the prophet who was sent to anoint him burst into tears when he saw the
horrible things king Hazael would do. He would kill men, take their children and dash them against a
rock, and brutally open the wombs of pregnant women. Which makes one wonder: if God knew
Hazael was going to commit all these atrocities, then why did He put him on that throne? Of course
violence is not the will of God, He is the God of peace (Romans 15:33). But there is a difference
between the will of God and the purposes of God. The will of God is what He wishes would happen,
e.g. it is the will of God that every person comes to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. But as we
know, not every person is saved. The will/wishes of God don’t always materialize, unless we also
play our part. The purpose of God, on the other hand, is what God will cause to happen or allow to
happen as a result of something else or in order to precede something else. In other words: the will
is what God wants to do, the purpose is what God will do.
That said, over the last few weeks we have discussed in detail that God has planned a destiny and a
happy life for each one of us (Jeremiah 29:11). This is what we think of as your star. But you have a
role to play in the good plans God has for you, otherwise it will not materialize. The fact that you
have been given a sovereign will means that you get to make choices for your life, and those
choices may either work in accordance to or against the will of God. Remember in Genesis 1:14 we
saw that stars were ordained for “signs and seasons, days and years”. A sign, for example, is not the
real thing yet – it only indicates the coming of the real thing. Clouds are a sign of rainfall, but you’ll
notice that not all clouds materialize to rain. Some are blown away by a mighty wind, some are
dissipated by the harsh elements. Think of God’s will as the clouds. It should happen, but it doesn’t
always happen. That’s why we pray: “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).
Last week we saw that everybody has been given a star (a destiny), and today note that are stars
are unique for each individual (1 Corinthians 15:41). What I’ve been given is not the same as what
you’ve been given. Where I shine may not be where you shine. You may be a good doctor and I a
diligent farmer. We cannot all be the same, we need each other differently. The farmer needs
medicine and the doctor needs food. It is at this juncture that I’d like to reluctantly narrate my story,
as I promised I would. I’m going to speak foolishly, because as the Scriptures explicate, speaking of
one’s own achievements is practically speaking like a fool. I’d rather not, lest any man think more
highly of me than they already do. But for the sake of ascribing glory to God, I must and I will.
I know of a man a number of years ago, who was born brighter than usual. His star was his
intelligence, and his incredible ability to easily articulate concepts that the average person grapples
with. This was noted from a very young age, so much so that his uncle seriously desired to purchase
him from his biological dad. But somehow, this ability later on was not being materialized – when he
went to school he literally has a record of holding the last position in class. For the most part he
performed just average, until when at 17 years of age he made the choice to surrender to Jesus as
his Lord and Savior. Then things changed suddenly. He went from position 66 to position 1. From
Grade C+/B- range to A plain. Whereas he was studying much previously to attain the grades he
would, now he would excel even without the effort. He could sit back and do much less, but still
excel. During prep time he would go teach other classes, because they asked him to. He became
something of a wonder in the entire school – a role model for his peers and an object of admiration
for the teachers. Now, it wasn’t until a decade later, that it was revealed that a jealous relative had
actually seen this boy’s star at a young age, and blocked it using witchcraft. In place of his
intelligence, the boy was plagued with migraine headaches for 7 years prior to all this. But
apparently, the moment Jesus came into his life, the migraines left never to return, and the intellect
was very dramatically restored.
How do you know if you’re not walking in the full will of God for your life? Simple, if you are not
shining. If you are in the perfect will of God for you, you will shine (Matthew 5:16, Isaiah 60:1). No
matter what it is you’re called to be, you need to shine. If you’re not shining, then either you or
something else is blocking your star. The clouds are already there, but something is preventing it
from raining. If that is the case, what do you need to do?
First, understand that these are not physical things, but spiritual. The battle is not against flesh and
blood, but against “spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places” (Ephesians 6). Therefore the
first step is to surrender to the King of Kings Jesus Christ. If you’re not born again, you are not under
God’s protection. Anybody can harm you in the spiritual realm, that’s why the jealous relative was
able to steal his star. But to make Jesus the Lord of your life means that He is now in charge of you,
and anything that happens to you must be first approved by Him.
Secondly, we Christians need to grow up. Just grow up. Understand that you’re in a battlefield every
single day. Don’t believe that Jesus finished everything on the cross – the only thing Jesus finished
is our salvation. Everything else has to be fought for. You fight to live, you fight to study, you fight to
prosper, you fight to minister, your fight to advance, you fight for your marriage, your fight for your
country, you fight for your kids, you fight for your business, you fight for your friendships, you fight for
your health! That’s why we need to “take the kingdom by violence” (Matthew 11:12). If you don’t
fight, you will live a miserable life even if you’re saved, because the devil is the god of this current
age (2 Corinthians 4:4). Put on full armour of God, stop excuses, and start fighting for God’s will to
be manifested on the earth as is it in heaven.
Finally, you need to disconnect yourself from any occult involvement in your life or in your bloodline.
Repent of it and renounce it all in the name of Jesus. Burn with fire all charms, paraphernalia,
talisman, ouija boards, good-luck items, sorcery books or objects or anything of that sort. Renounce
all curses, generational or otherwise. Repent of any illicit sexual contact, and sever any soul ties
associated with it. Mention by name every person you’ve ever had sexual sin with, and cut yourself
off from any ties you made. Break every negative word spoken over your life, especially by a figure
of authority. Don’t ignore such things – in the physical they may not be much but in the spiritual they
are exceedingly powerful. The devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, and all he needs is a tiny
hole for him to squeeze himself into your life. Jesus said you speak to the mountains by faith, and
they will obey you. Pray and speak over your life, your family, your town, and your country.
Command your restoration, command your destiny, command your stars to return. Here’s a model
prayer you can use to reclaim your star:
“Almighty Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, You word says: for this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. I thank You, Faithful God, because You said
that there is nothing hidden that shall not be uncovered. Therefore You have revealed the works of
the devil in my life, in my family, in my career (etc.). So I repent of every sin that gave the enemy
legal ground to attack me (mention the sins individually). I renounce in Jesus’ name every link and
every covenant made with the devil, knowingly or unknowingly, through any form of witchcraft that I
or my forefathers have engaged in. I break every curse operating in my life, and repent of the wrong
I or my forefathers did to precipitate that curse. And I now make a new covenant with you, through
the blood of Jesus that was shed for by sin. And by this new covenant, and by the authority of your
word, I now decree the destruction of the works of the devil in my life, in my career (mention the
areas you feel are not shining). I reclaim the destiny that You, the Mighty God of Israel, have
prepared for me, as you said in Jeremiah 29:11. I reclaim my star. I reclaim my marriage, my health,
my… (add yours). You also said that You would give me beauty for ashes, the oil of joy instead of
mourning, and the garment of praise in place of the spirit of heaviness. Based on that word, I declare
that I am blessed, and not cursed. I am strong, and not weak. I am head, and not tail. I am healed,
and not sick. Today, I arise and shine, for my light has come! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
