1. Proposed name of the business

Targets
The proposed business name must:
•Reflect the business identity and image
•Promote the philosophical values and culture
that the business values the most
•Profess the brand identity of the product, and
•Attract or influence the target consumers

the Philippines:

•Ayala Corporation
•SM Investments Corporation
•ABS-CBN Corporation
Address/Location of the Business:
• Must be correctly written and
complete since all business
correspondence are mailed to the
business address, same with the
materials and other supplies being
sent.
• The reason for choosing the location
can be included here.
Name of the Owner:
• The name of the owner must be
properly stated.
• In sole proprietorship, there’s
only 1 owner.
• In cases of partnerships, the
names of the partners, including
the extent of their liabilities, must
be indicated.
• For corporate entities, the names,
nationalities, and addresses of
the incorporators must be given.
Incorporators are persons who
originally formed the corporation.
Business Concept
A business concept contains the essence of the
enterprise in a concise but powerful manner. It
stresses the value of the product offering to the
target customers who would most likely buy it.

It should include:
1. A short description of your business
2. Market need
3. Core products/services
4. Target market
Business Model

It is a business formula on how the


enterprise exactly plans to make money
out of the business.

Performance Targets
•The business goals show the future and long-
term prospects of the enterprise. It is
composed of the vision, mission, objectives,
key result areas and performance indicators of
the enterprise.

• Mission-Defines the fundamental purpose of an
organization or an enterprise, describing why it exists and
what it does to achieve its vision.

• Vision - It outlines what an organization wants to be, or how it


wants the world in which it operates to be. It is a long-term view
and concentrates on the future.

• Objectives-are specific results that a person or system


aims to achieve within a time frame and with available
resources.
Example: Double Happiness
an eatery in a bus terminal with 3 outlets in Central Luzon

The vision of Double Happiness is to


“establish a commanding presence
and market leadership as a food
chain servicing major bus terminals
in Central Luzon within the next five
years”.
Sample Mission Statement:

• For Double Happiness, its mission statement is “to


provide quality food and passenger convenience
services that would generate sufficient profits for the
stockholders and improve the lives of its employees.”
Note: Objectives must be
more specific than the
vision and mission
statements. They should be
specific, measurable,
achievable, results-focused,
and time-bound (SMART
objective setting)

1.to establish a strong market presence in Central Luzon;

2.to earn good financial returns for its owners;

3.to delight customers with high quality food and services; and

4.to make Double Happiness a happy and rewarding place to work in.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
What is an Executive Summary?
• It contains everything that is relevant and important
to the business audience.
• It is the synthesis of the entire plan.
• The last section to be written after all parts have
been completed. It is the next major part after
Introduction.
• It points out the overall highlights of the business
plan.
