    Connectivity & Development Project (ICDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments
    under the contract: Rehabilitation/ Improvement and Maintenance of 90.3 Km Rural Roads in Katuwana,
    Ambalanthota, Tangalle, Weeraketiya, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota, Thissamaharamaya and
    Lunugamwehwra Divisional Secretariat in Hambantota District in Southern Province

    • Bidders may bid for one or several lots, as further defined in the Bidding Document. Bidders wishing to offer
    discounts in case they are awarded more than one lot will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are
    included in the Letter of Bid.

    • Bidding will be conducted through open competitive procurement – nationally advertised using Request for
    Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in
    Investment Projects Financing” Fourth Edition, November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open
    to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

    on or before 10:00 hrs 24th August 2023. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be
    rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and
    anyone who chooses to attend promptly after bid submission at the same venue.
