Installation Instructions & FAQ

Essential FIles
Some of the files included in your download are essential to use the instruments, others are bonus
content. Please note all files marked “VIDEO” are available on my YouTube channel if you want to just
stream them.

Files are missing


Don’t worry if Ableton says some files are missing. The impenetrable way Ableton handles files
means this was the best way to save the projects and keep file size down. Nothing is missing to use
the templates and instruments, they are references to files that are not needed.

Accessing latest versions


The essential files on your download link are always the latest versions, so if products are updated,
you can use the link on your confirmation or download e-mail to access the most recent version.

File path is too long


If you get an error that the “File path is too long” when attempting to extract, please move the ZIP to
your desktop and try there. Depending how complex your file system is, PC has some issues.

Ableton 10
If you are using Ableton 10, please open the Ableton 9 files. You will have to make two small
adjustments:
1. Change Bass Cut Channel EQ on every channel. Please move the frequency down, as Ableton has
a minor bug when opening V9 on V10:

2. Add OTT with these settings after the “Mud and Presence EQ” and before “PA Adapt for Live EQ”
on the Mastering FX chain

Project not opening
Project or instrument not opening correctly > Please try to re-download the files. We see it sometimes
that the download did not complete and then the projects won’t open or show errors.

Minor Version Error / Project is corrupt


Project not opening with a “Minor Version” Error. Are you trying to open the Ableton 11 files with an
Ableton 10 licence? Please open the Ableton 9 project files.
