Mr. Mohammad Yameen, a 23-year-old male, had a complete blood count test done which showed a hemoglobin level of 14.5 g/dL, hematocrit level of 41.6%, and a platelet count of 150,000 cells/cu.mm. The white blood cell differential count revealed 67% neutrophils, 21% lymphocytes, 1% eosinophils, and 11% monocytes. The results of the complete blood count were within normal limits except for the platelet count which was on the lower end of the normal range.
