    MIDTERM PERFORMANCE TASK


    RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 3: CHRISTIAN MORALITY

    “INSPIRATIONAL SHORT STORY”

    GOAL: It is worth repeating that Christian Morality are concerned in emphasizing our
    worth as human beings created in the image and likeness of God and for Happiness,
    our freedom and Moral Act, and most especially conscience as the subjective norm of
    morality. Therefore, Christian Morality basically deal with values, principles and
    obligations that are necessary in order to live successful human lives.
    The goal is to spread and share this inspiration on how we enliven the Christian
    Morality; on how we asked for mercy and forgiveness to God despite our sinfulness; by
    acknowledging our mistakes and resolved to change for the better; by being humble
    and seeking forgiveness from those whom we have hurt; and be renewed and be
    reminded that we are created in God’s image and likeness.

    ROLE: You are the actors/actresses.

    AUDIENCE: Your teacher and classmates.

    SITUATION: Each group will role play a SHORT STORY about how a person misuse his/her freedom, going
    against true Christian Morality, how that person reconciles his relationship to God, changes his
    heart and keep reminded to do good over evil in life. At the end of the role play, it should have
    the moral of the story.

    PRODUCT PERFORMANCE:

    Each section is divided into 5-6 groups and make a 5 minute role play presentation. This
    presentation helps the students know and be reminded of what it is to live in the light of the true
    Christian Morality. The scaffolds will be brainstorming and script making of the story. The
    presentation could use different language or dialect (English, Tagalog, Bisaya, etc.) The
    presentation will be on November 25, 2022

    Standards: Your output will be graded according standards set in the rubric.
