I- METHOD STATEMENT T&C AND CHECK LIST PLAN OF ACCESS

CONTROL SYSTEM

1. Purpose
This document describes the methodology for testing & commissioning of Access Control
System in accordance with the approved project quality plan and relevant system specifications, and to
ensure that all concerned persons are familiar with the sequence of activities, utilization of resources, and
execution of the works in compliance with applicable Security and Quality Procedures, and Project
Documents and Specification.

2. Reference
• Contract Specifications.
• Contract Related Drawing.
• Approved Material Submittals.
• Approved Shop Drawing & Coordination Drawing.
• Manufacture Recommendation for Installation & Commissioning.

3. Tools / Equipment
• Tools Kit.
• Measuring Tape.
• Ladder / Scaffolding.
• Calibrated Multimeter
• Safety Equipment Tools such as Safety Shoes, Safety Helpmate, Safety Glass,
Fluorescent vest and
Safety Gloves to ensure maximum ability of safe work and dust mask when require.

4. Pre-Commissioning
4.1 Preparation
Carry out the following prior to start any testing.

• Ensure all wiring is 100% complete, and that all ancillaries have been install
correctly
• Confirm incoming cable have been tested in accordance with requirements.
• The contractor shall carry out and submit test report on testing equipment record
sheet
included within the electrical test sheet. Test to include
- Insulation Tests
- Loop Impedance Tests
- Cable Community Tests
- Electrical Resistance Tests
