REORGANIZATION OF THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER
COMMITTEE (BPOC) OF BARANGAY CADLAN, PILI, CAMARINES SUR
WHEREAS, in realizing the objectives of Barangay governance and as provided under
existing laws, certain mechanisms has to be established in order to address the needs of the Barangay and to actualize its development;
WHEREAS, Section 2of Executive Order 366, provides for the organization of the Barangay Peace and Order Council ( BPOC) and further strengthened by DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2002 -02 and BPOC Memorandum Circular No. 2002 -005;
NOW THEREFORE, I, WALDEN DOMINGO P. BRUSAS, Punong Barangay of
Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Local Government Code of 1991and other existing laws, do hereby order and direct the following:
Section 1. There is hereby organized the Barangay Peace and Order Committee in Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur composed of the following:

BALTAZAR Faith based Rep./Brgy Kagawad JUN ALIADO Brgy – Anti – Crime Group Representative Section 2. Functions and Responsibilities. The Barangay Peace and Order Council shall have the following functions:
1. Initiate, coordinate and monitor the implementation of peace and order programs, projects and activities at the Barangay level; 2. Serve as information-gathering mechanism pertaining to peace and order and other information that may affect public safety; 3. Monitor and check the nefarious activities of criminal elements. 4. Supervise Barangay Tanods in identifying Barangay constituents with strong deviant behavior for referral to appropriate authorities; 5. Maintain continuing dialogue, close coordination and rapport with Municipal Peace and Order Council and law enforcement units operating in the Barangay; 6. Formulate plans and recommend such measures which will improve peace and order and public safety in its area of responsibility; 7. Supervise, coordinate and monitor operations of all community – based anti – crime activities undertaken within the Barangay; 8. Undertake periodic assessment of the prevailing peace and order situation in the Barangay and submit reports with appropriate recommendations to the MPOC; 9. Perform such other functions that may be assigned by higher levels of peace and order councils.
Section 3. Meetings. The Barangay Peace and Order Committee (BPOC) shall convene at least once a month or as often as may be necessary.
