Internet access is only needed during the process of downloading an activation.
Note: To activate a subscription license the FactoryTalk Activation Manager needs to be in
version 4.03.03 or higher.
1. Click Start menu-->All Programs-->Rockwell Software-->FactoryTalk Activation--
>FactoryTalk Activation Manager.
2. From the Home tab, select the Get New Activations button.

3. Enter your Serial Number and Product Key in the Serial # and Product Key fields and
select the Validate Activation button at the bottom right.

Note: If you have Internet access and after selecting the Get New Activations option
you cannot enter the serial number and product key in and instead you see the
window below, please close the FactoryTalk Activation Manager and re-open it,
however run the software as administrator. In some cases, a reboot may also be
necessary.

9. Once completed, the FactoryTalk Activation Download Complete! screen
