This SAC will appear as events on your Compass schedule and will be set up as a Learning Task, starting 1 st June to 8th
June.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Number of periods: 4
Allowed materials: CAS calculator and one bound reference of notes
MARKS:
This task contributes 50 of the 50 marks for School Assessed Coursework in Unit 3.
Outcome 1: 15 marks
Outcome 2: 20 marks
Outcome 3: 15 marks
STRUCTURE OF SAC:
This application task is comprised of three consecutive components
Component 1: Session 1 Tuesday 1st June
Component 2: Session 2 Thursday 3rd June
Component 3: Session 3 Friday 4th June
Component 3: Session 4 Tuesday 8th June
INSTRUCTIONS:
All work will be completed on questions sheets provided
Your SAC questions and answers sheets, bound reference and CAS calculator will be collected after every
session
No new material is permitted to be brought into the SAC after the first session.
Any material found to be brought in will be in violation of the SAC policy and procedures and will be
brought to your Well Being Leader’s immediate attention
A VCAA formula sheet will be provided to you
All working out must be clear and must be shown for each question
