 Belief in the Unity or Allah is the 1 Article of Faith.
 Islam calls to the belief that the Creator, the Sustainer, the Cherisher
and the Sovereign Lord of this immensely vast universe comprising
billions of galaxies and stars Allah who is one and unique without any
partners.
 His nature is so sublime that it is far beyond our limited conceptions.
 All the creatures testify to His Existence, and none are comparable to
Him.
 The fundamental facts of creation and existence of the universe and the
unity of its design all proclaim His Oneness.
 Allah is the Eternal, without beginning or end, the Absolute, who is not
limited by time or place or circumstance.
 There is no one else who has the right to be worshipped except Him.
 He has the Most Beautiful Names and the Loftiest Attributes.
 His Knowledge extends to everything seen and unseen, present and
future, near and far, and His Grace and Mercy are unbounded.
 He is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, and the Law giver.
 Surah Ikhlas, Ayet-ul-Kursi.
 Allah is beyond anything which the mind or senses of man can grasp or
comprehend or imagine.
 The vast universe with its flawless system clearly indicates that there is
one creator and one controller.
 There is complete harmony and everything is set perfectly in the system.
 There is no flaw and no need for improvement in it.
 Tauhid shapes and regulates the entire course of a Muslim's life.
 Everything is created in a given proportion with perfect organization.
 Tauhid has three aspects (1-Oneness of the Lordship of Allah. Ar-
Rabubiyyah. 2-Oneness in worship of Allah .Al-Auluhiyyah. 3- Oneness
of the Names and Qualities of Allah. Al-Asma-Was-Sifat).
 The opposite of Oneness or Unity of Allah is Shirk which means
associating partners with the Supreme Lord.
 Shirk is divided into three main categories. (1-Shirk in the existence of
Allah.2-Shirk in attributes.3-Shirk in worship).
 The Islamic belief of Oneness of Allah or Tawheed cuts across the
Doctrine of Holy Trinity as preached by Christians.
 Shirk to be an unpardonable sin.
 Effects of Tauheed on Human life.
 1- self respect and self esteem.
 2-becomes humble and modest.
 3-never looses hope.
 4-becomes brave.

 Belief in angels is 2nd pillar of Islam.
 Angels are unseen beings.
 Not Allah's daughter.
 Not to be worshipped.
 Created by nor.
 Not free will.
 Can change their shape and form.
 Nobody saw the angels in their real shape and form except the Prophet
(SAW).
 Strengthen hearts of believers. Helped believers at Badr.
 Pray for the Muslims.
 Protect the believers.
 Some angels are in the state of prostration.
 Some angels are in the state of bow.
 Some are praying, praising Allah.
 Some angels are sending Darood upon the Prophet (SAW).

Q:- Write a note on the book of Allah.


Contents:-
 Servants of Allah and agents.
 We need guidance to carry out our duties.
 Due to the weaknesses and frail and short-sighted.
 Allah has not left us without guidance.
 He sent Prophets and messengers.
 In addition to this sent books of guidance through them.
 Allah's favours and blessings are countless.
 He has provided us with all that we need.
 How wonderfully He arranged our growth in the tender and affectionate
care of our parents from birth to youth.
 His guidance contained in the books of revelation.
 The pure, perfect and most useful knowledge.
 Muslim believes in all the revealed books.
 Only the Quran exists in its original form.
 The authenticity and divinity are other books are doubtful.
 “Verily it is we who have revealed the Admonition and we are its
Guardians”.

Q:- Write a note on the Risalah (Prophet hood) / the necessity of prophethood.
Contents:-
 Risala means to an apostle.
 In Islamic terminology it means the transmitting or reaching the
commandment of Allah revealed to chosen person.
 These commandment and percepts may be in the form by verbal
message or practice of a Prophet.
 Rose among every people.
 Does not believe in any one of the prophets would be a Kafir.
 Risalah is the channel of communication.
 The message of the entire prophet is one and the same.
 Why do we need guidance?
 Aim of creation of mankind is the service and obedience of Allah.
 “I have only created Jinns and men that they may serve Me”.
 Each creature is given the chance of development and progress towards
the goal which is Allah.
 Evil comes to an evil end. But time is always in favour of those who have
faith to live clean and pure from evils.
 Without prophet hood it is impossible to obey Allah.

Q:- Describe the differences between Muhammad (SAW) and other prophets.
Contents:-
 As for the fact of being prophet.
 Having been deputed by him for teaching. No differences.
 We have been ordered to believe.
 Had come to certain people for certain periods of time.
 Teachings of previous Prophets have either disappeared or not pure.
 The guidance of the past prophet was not complete and all embracing;
every prophet was followed by another.
 Complete code of life.
 Protected.
 He is a true Prophet of Allah.
 His teachings are absolutely perfect, free from of defect or error.

Q:- Explain how the belief in Prophets influences the daily living of a Muslim.
Contents:-
 Like other fundamentals of faith, belief in prophets is also linked with a
Muslim's conduct in daily life.
 The divine message was same.
 Interfaith harmony will flourish between Muslims and the followers of
other faith.
 He starts realizing the significance of the moral teachings.
 He will try to become a better and God-fearing Muslim and a role model
for non Muslims.
 He will be able to attract them to the fold Islam.
 This belief can establish his link with Allah.

Q:- Write a note on Life after Death.


Contents:-
 Belief in life after death, which pertains to the Day of Judgement, bodily
Resurrection. Heaven and Hell is one of the articles of faith in Islam.
 The Holy Quran gives great importance to this belief.
 A man's life on this earth with his death, after which another life begins
in the state of Barzakh.
 Immediately after death the lesser Judgement or Qiyamat-e-Sughra
take place.
 The Quran describe the events of the last day in a very clear and awe
inspiring language.
 The earth will split apart and become a level stretch.
 The mountains will crumble to dust and will fly here and there like wool.
 The sun will be folded up, the moon will be in darkness, the stars will
become dim and fall.
 The oceans will boil over and burst forth.
 All landmarks on this earth will be lost.
 All those who are alive on earth at that time will die.
 All men will then stand before Allah to give an account of their actions
in this world.
 They will be given their book of deeds which they will be asked to read.
 The good will be given their record in their right hand.
 While the sinners in their left hand or from behind their backs.
 No injustice will be done on the Day of judgement.
 People's hands feet and tongues will bear witness against them.
 Those who rejected Allah and ignored His guidance and the warning
conveyed through His Messengers and Prophets will be thrown into hell.
 As for those people who believed in Allah, who obeyed and submitted to
Him and did righteous deeds.
 The two states of Heaven and hell are not spiritual.
 Islam lays the greatest stress on the individual's accountability to Allah.
 The human being's life in this world is a trial.
 Those who do not believe in a future life become immoral and
irresponsible.
 Who have a firm belief in life after death fear Allah, follow the straight
path, do good deeds and abstain from all evil deeds.

Q:- Write a note on the Death, Akhira and its effects.


Contents:-
 Death is a natural event for all living things. “Every soul shall have the
Taste of death”.
 It is an occasion of sorrow and grief.
 Death can arrive at any time.
 A person tries to obey the commandments of Allah.
 It is a starting point of new life.
 Hell & Paradise. “Does man think that we shall not assemble his bones?
Yes, surely, yes, we are able to restore the enemy shape of his fingers.
 Effects
 Sense of responsibility.
 He will be a server of mankind.
 Will regard virtue.
 Will safeguard man kinds from tyranny and lawlessness.
 Ready to sacrifice.
 Will bear trials and tribulations with patience and forbearance.
 Will be blessed by Allah.

Q:- Write a note on Allah's Predestination and Decree.


Contents:-
 Another article of Islamic belief is faith in destiny, its good and evil.
 The Arabic word for destiny, Qadr, implies the measuring out of
something or fixing a limit to it.
 Everything contained therein is the outcome of the planning and will of
the Creator.
 He is not only supervising the universe but also directing it to its
destined end.
 Its growth, its completion, its measure and its guidance to its goal which
is brought about according to a law or measure within which everything
works by Divine Guidance.
 Allah created man with certain powers and it is the exercise of those
powers that produce good or evil.
 He has given human beings freedom of choice for their actions.
 He has also made them responsible for what they do.
 He has shown them the difference between right and wrong.
 Allah's Knowledge, Will and Power are absolute and unbounded
therefore, He knows the results of all events before their occurrence.
 A human being however, does not have access to this knowledge and he
acts in accordance with a desire.

Q:- To what extent does this belief (predestination) affect the daily living of
Muslims?
Contents:-
 A believer will develop true faith in Allah, and a feeling of contentment.
 He will consider his achievements as sign of Allah's blessing.
 In case of setback or failure, he will seek Allah's help.
 He will associate the result of his hard work with Allah's will.
 He will remain steadfast in his faith.
 He will always trust in Allah.
