The Ministry of Education FDRE/ Education and Training Authority has identified and released
list of courses and their focus area for exit exam for each departments that help graduating
students preparation of National Exit Examination . Therefore,. Here is the attached list of
courses to be included and their focus area of department of Accounting & Finance, Business
Management & Computer Science.

2.Business Management:
The major courses that aim nature of the program the are to be part of the examination will
basically focused to evaluate the skill, knowledge and attitude of graduates that enable
them to perform the desired competency. Based on the identified competencies and the
courses offered under each respective department are categorized under five themes.
There are 15 courses groped under the five themes that are going to be part of the exit
examination. There courses under each themes that are identified to measure the
competency of graduates of department of Business Management.
The five major thematic areas on which the exit exam will be based are:
Theme 1: Fundamentals of Management and Marketing
Theme 2: Human Resource and Organizational Behavior
Theme 3: Innovation, Strategy and Project Management
Theme 4: Managerial Statistics and Business research
Theme 5: Management Science and Financial management
The content of the exams are determined based on the competencies and learning outcomes that
graduates are expected to achieve. Therefore, this guideline provide the expected profile of the
graduate, the detail core competency areas and learning outcomes, the thematic areas and the list
of major courses to be included in the exit exam under each thematic area.
