    School Sports Fest
    Conducting a sports fest post-pandemic holds a special significance as it
    symbolizes our resilience, determination, and collective spirit to bounce back from
    adversity. It allows us to come together as a community, uniting individuals from
    diverse backgrounds, ages, and abilities in the shared pursuit of athletic excellence,
    entertainment, and celebration.

    Engaging in sports and physical activities has proven benefits for both our
    physical and mental health, enhancing our immune systems, reducing stress levels,
    and improving overall well-being. Moreover, these events provide an opportunity for
    participants to showcase their talents, develop new skills, and build lifelong
    friendships.

    As we plan and organize sports fests in the post-pandemic era, it is crucial to


    prioritize the health and safety of all participants, spectators, and staff. Adhering to
    the guidance provided by health authorities, implementing appropriate safety
    protocols, and ensuring comprehensive sanitization measures will be paramount. By
    taking these precautions, we can create a secure environment that allows everyone
    to fully enjoy the event while minimizing any potential risks.

    Early in the morning of December 13, 2022, Mabiga conducted a short


    opening program for school sports fest. The program started with a prayer and
    followed by a parade of the players together with their respective teachers.

    Everyone is so much exited to show their talents in playing their sports like
    badminton, athletics, specifically in track and field and basketball. Mabiga ES Mapeh
    Coordinator divided the event into two parts. Primary participated in Larong lahi like
    sack race while intermediate participated in badminton, athletics, and basketball as
    well.

    Players were oriented with the rules and regulations of the game. All the
    games went well and fair. The winners received certificates and small prizes for the
    efforts they have shown. The only way to prove that you’re a good sport is to loose.
    Not everyone got prizes and certificates but at the end of the day what they have
    realize what important is they played, they had fun and they enjoyed the games.
