This document discusses Filipino images and experiences of Jesus. It begins by providing background on Jesus' life and ministry based on the gospels. It then examines how pre-Spanish Filipinos viewed God and incorporated Catholic teachings about Jesus. Several popular Filipino images of Jesus are presented: as Son of God and Son of Man, Host, Suffering Servant, Christ the King, and Miracle Worker. While these images reflect Filipino culture, the document notes they do not fully align with the Jesus of the gospels and can lead to negative tendencies if taken to an extreme.
