Well let me help you with that.

But first let me give you a scenario for you to understand the difference between a good speaker and
the opposite.

Situation 1: Bad speaker

Voice is not loud enough

Hi guys! I'm (name) and I'm going to give a short speech about the topic "poverty" well all of know that
poverty is one of the biggest problem that the world if facing right now and........ (Forget what she/he
saying).... And.... (This the part where she/he's gonnan get far from the topic) When we are struggling
from poverty we get depressed and we just have to work that all thank u

Goodmorning everyone!(with a clear and loud enough voice) hi I'm (name) and I'm going to give a short
impromptu speech about the topic "poverty". Well all of us know that poverty is one of the biggest
problem that the world is facing right now.

But first, let me tell you what is poverty.

Well poverty is defined like "Poverty is about not having enough money to meet basic needs including
food, clothing and shelter".

However, poverty is more, much more than just not having enough money.

We can define poverty like

"Poverty is lack of good jobs"

"Poverty is lack of shelter"

"Poverty is hunger"

So i think poverty is one of the problem that we should be focusing right now. That's all thank u

Well here are some tips on how to deliver a good speech or how to be an effective speaker.

Hi this is (name of the vlogger) and I'm here to help you to give a good speech.

Vlogger/ Narrator:

Well first i recommend you to use speech pattern for you to trave your thoughts well, one of the speech
patterns i recommend you is PREP method or Position, Reason, Example, Position

In position you're just going to answer or give your ideas about the topic given to you.

Situation: (Well all of us know that poverty is one of the biggest problem that the world is facing right
now.)

And reason you're just going to explain why is that your answer:

Situation: ( Well poverty is defined like "Poverty is about not having enough money to meet basic needs
including food, clothing and shelter". )

Example/Evidence: in this part we're just going to give an example for us to make our answer stronger
so that those people that are listening will be more interested to listen to your speech.

Situation: (However, poverty is more, much more than just not having enough money.

We can define poverty like

"Poverty is lack of good jobs"

"Poverty is lack of shelter"

"Poverty is hunger"

And in the last Position you sre just going to say again your thoughts about the given topic just like in
first.

Situation: ( So i think poverty is one of the problem that we should be focusing right now. That's all

Vlogger/ narrator:See its easy right? There are many speech patterns we could use so don't waste them.

Well the audience that are going to listen and watch you on stage are not going to be satisfied with just
a good speech so let's try practicing it with a good non - verbal communication. All of us know that bad
mannerisms can really affect our communication with other people so let me give you some tips!

Narrator/Vlogger: When you're delivering a speech most of people are just going to look on the upper
half of your body so i recommend you to place your hand on the upper part of your belly like this
(showing a situation)

Vloger/ narrator:

Also when delivering a speech always keep in mind that your audience need to hear you so if you're
more like a shy type introverted person try being loud enough (not screaming though) same as a normal
person make sure that your audience can hear you so that they would be more interested on your
speech
