foreword

The codings and adjustments listed here are from various sources and mostly tested on a vehicle or found and documented by yourself. This
document does not claim to be correct. All changes are therefore made at your own risk.

It is recommended to create a full auto scan and adaptation channel maps (“AdpMap”) of all control units that are to be adapted before making
the changes.

Instructions for creating an adaptation channel image:

Start VCDS > Applications > Control unit image > Address "XX", access authorization "YYYYY", function "Adaptation", format "CSV file" > Start The access
authorizations can be found in the next chapter.

After completing the coding, the infotainment must be restarted via the reset (hold the power button for 10 seconds).

Ambient lighting (multicolor) - Customize colors

The colors are given in RGB coding. If a color is set to {R:0, G:0, B:0}, the color will not be displayed. The first three channel blocks act for the
infotainment and the AID, the second three blocks for the LED ambience strips, which are controlled via the LIN bus. After completing the
coding, the infotainment must be restarted via the reset (hold the power button for 10 seconds).

Note: The colors are usually reproduced 1:1 in Infotainment and AID. Slight adjustments to the LIN colors may be necessary, since the colors
may differ there due to the different luminosity of the LEDs.

Ambient lighting (multicolor) - colors expand to 30 possibilities

With »Facelift BCMs« (from Index BA) there are 20 additional color sets, which are assigned to the Ambience_lightning_color_list_2 &
Ambience_lightning_color_list_lin_2 group. The procedure is analogous to the adjustment of the colors in the previous chapter.

> Channel "Ambient light Assignment of the color to the driving profile-driving profile_?" > Adjust value as desired

The assignment can differ depending on the gateway. This may need to be tried out. The color values are retrieved from the "Ambient light color list"
and "Ambient light color list LIN" channel lists. The function must then be activated in the CAR menu under ambient lighting.

Ambient lighting - disable dimming of door lighting

In the standard configuration, the ambient lighting is dimmed when the doors are closed and while driving. This can be deactivated.

"Early" > Brake releases quickly and with little gas (hardly or not at all perceptible, no jerk)

The factory setting "Normal" can be particularly annoying when manoeuvring, as you have to accelerate a little more before the brakes release. This can also
be critical, especially in tight parking spaces, because the car jumps forward. The "Early" setting is ideal if you want to use Auto Hold!

US daytime running lights/normal daytime running lights - switchable via CAR menu

The coding allows you to switch between the normal daytime running lights and the US daytime running lights in the light switch position »0«. For parking light and low
beam you have to decide on one version in the coding.
