PROCEDURE:
Warm-up (5 minutes):
1. Greet the students and introduce the topic by holding up an object and asking, "What's
this?" Encourage students to respond with the name of the object.
2. Repeat the activity with a few more objects to familiarize them with the question.
1. Write the question "What's this?" on the board and explain its meaning.
2. Show a flashcard or picture of an object and ask the class, "What's this?" Encourage
individual students to respond.
3. Model the appropriate response by saying, "It's a [object name]." Write the sentence
structure on the board.
4. The partner/group must respond with the correct name of the object using the sentence
structure learned.
5. Rotate roles and continue until all students have had a chance to practice.
