AN ADDRESS PRESENTED BY THE HEADMISTRESS OF

AKUMA PRIMARY SCHOOL, AKUMAZI-UMUOCHA.


FOR THE OCCASSION OF COMMISSIONING OF A
MODERN TOILET AND FUND RAISING.

Your Royal Majesty:


The Obi of Akumazi-Umuocha Kingdom.
Chief Inspector of Education (CIE)
The Education Secretary.
Heads of Schools and Staffs.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
All Protocols Observed.

Your Excellency Sir, distinguished Ladies and gentle men, I


am particularly happy this day to stand before you as Headteacher
of Akuma Primary School Akuimazi-Umuocha.
When I was posted here as Headteacher, things were not so
easy for me. But I was not discouraged I took the bull by its horn
through the help of God Almighty, my staff and community Idumu-
Obi in general.
Your Excellency Sir, our main purpose of coming together
today is the commissioning of the modern toilet built by a
Philanthropist and donated to the School Mr. Hycent Nkwor.
We also want to use the occasion to honour and appreciate
some individuals in the community for their untiring effort in
making the School environment a very conducive place for Teachers
and Pupils.
Your Excellency distinguished Ladies and gentle men, first
among these are the PTA and SMB executive. They did not live me
at all, any time I call them they quickly respond to sort out the
problems and provide the solution.
Hon. Charles Aniagwu has being doing marvelous work in
Delta state and the community including Schools.
Eng. Smart Ikem took it by himself to provide School uniform
for pupils of this School, He also respond and repair blown off roof
for two block buildings in this School.
Hon. Chijindu Oseji took by himself and his resources in
clearing the football field for this School.
Hon. Wallance Okafor is also using his resources to continue
paying the community teacher.
Others include Mr. Iwebuke O.N., Elder Iwelu Michael,
Chief Anazia Francis to mention but a few, all of them did their best
to make things work out well for the school.
Your Excellency Ladies and gentle men I want to intimate you
that we are not left without some challenges. These include:
1. Leaking roof
2. G.B. tank for storing water for flushing
3. Mown for cutting grass
4. Gate man for security.
5. Janglova
6. Sports facilities-football, basketball volleyball, table tennis
equipments.
7. Chalk board for some classes.
With all these things itemised, we hereby solicit for money and
those that can take care in providing them.
