3. Section A

Section A

Learning Objective

The learning objective is that you learn to create a presentation based on the research that you have done as part of the assignment that you
were briefed on in Week 1. This is an opportunity for you to apply and use the course material in the analysis of your chosen company. Your
assignment will be completed throughout the block. As a third-year student, you must display your presentation skills as this is a crucial skill that
any graduate will need to present ideas in the workplace.

Presentation

Please note that you are required to prepare a PowerPoint presentation to be presented to your lecturer. This presentation will contribute 10%
towards your overall marks. Refer to the Marking rubric in Section B for the marking criteria.

General guidelines for the talking points of the presentation.

Focus on the quality, not the quantity, of the content. Be specific.

A goal of case analysis is to improve your ability to think clearly in ambiguous and confusing situations. Do not get frustrated that there is no
single answer.
Provide answers to such fundamental questions as what, when, where, why, who, and how.
Professional technical presentation is very important. Use headings and subheadings and number both.
Be creative and original in the work that you do. Remember to also reference an image/picture used in the assignment as well as in the
bibliography.
Support reasoning and judgement with factual data whenever possible.

Technical Aspects

Create a PowerPoint presentation. Each member of the group must get an opportunity to present. Your presentation must be submitted on a
separate Turnitin link that will be available on the Week 5 myLMS tile.

Talking points of the presentation

Make sure that you refer to the marking criteria where the different content points are confirmed. You will cover all the discussion points
discussed in your assignment based on the company that your group has researched. All students in your group must participate in the research
and presentation.

Marking Criteria

Refer to Section B Marking rubric.
