    A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM


    OF THE SANGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY SAN NICOLAS 2 ND BETIS, GUAGUA,
    PAMPANGA AMOUNTING TO ₱ 517,689.90 FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2023
    WHEREAS, Section 2 of RA 10742 declares that the state recognizes the vital
    role of the youth in nation-building and thus, promotes and protects their physical,
    moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being, inculcates in them patriotism,
    nationalism and other desirable values, and encourages their involvement in public and
    civic affairs. Towards this end, the State shall establish adequate, effective, responsive
    and enabling mechanisms and support systems that will ensure the meaningful
    participation of the youth in local governance and in nation-building.
    WHEREAS, Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act no. 11768,
    otherwise known as An Act Strengthening the Sangguniang Kabataan, institutionalizing
    additional reforms to revitalize youth participation in Local Governance and by providing
    Honorarium, other benefits, and privileges, amending for the purpose certain section of
    Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan reform act of
    2015”

    WHEREAS, the said plan will serve as guide for the Sangguniang Kabataan to
    implement its program, projects and activities that is aimed to empower the youth in the
    barangay;
    NOW THEREFORE, ON MOTION OF SK MEMBER, JAYSON S. OCAMPO,
    DULY SECONDED BY SK MEMBER NIKKAELLA S. BAUTISTA, BE IT RESOLVED,
    AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED TO APPROVED THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH
    INVESTMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023 AS PREPARED;
    RESOLVED FURTHER, THAT COPIES OF THIS RESOLUTION AND THE ANNUAL
    BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023 BE
    FORWARDED TO THE OFFICE OF THE SANGGUINIANG BARANGAY, THE LOCAL
    YOUTH DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, SANGGUNIANG BAYAN MUNICIPALITY
    PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, MUNICIPAL BUDGET OFFICER,
    AND THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT FOR THEIR
    INFORMATION AND APPROPRIATE ACTION
