(Nuyda)
Maraming salamat kabayan Ryan!
Wildlife is one of the real highlights of Africa, with beasts, bugs and birds big and small
enticing travelers from all over the world. Of course, The Big Five (lion, leopard, African
elephant, rhino and buffalo) are one of the main draws to Africa, with nations such as
Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa being popular tourist destinations.
Narito ang ilan sa mga voice recordings ng mga turista na aming na interview dito sa Africa!

I visited Africa because of its culture, ambiance for example and the learnings that it gave
throughout history that helped evolve how the society works in today's modern world like,
● Chemistry
The early use of chemistry dates back to the ancient civilization of Egypt. The Egyptians
figured out the use of fire in extracting copper from their ores. Through chemistry, they also
found a way to create synthetic pigment using crushed mineral salt as their material.
● Metallurgy
The earliest ironworking site so far was discovered in Carthage, North Africa. Archeological
expeditions found iron production that dates around the middle of the 8thcentury BCE. The
ever-growing production and trade of forged metal started the iron age in the ancient world.

My comments about africa is that Almost thirty years ago, African leaders meeting in the
Nigerian city of Lagos promised "to put science and technology in the service of
development by reinforcing the autonomous capacity of our countries in this field".
Central to this strategy, contained in the so-called 'Lagos Plan of Action', was a pledge
that each country should devote one per cent of its gross domestic product (GDP) to
supporting research and development (R&D).

From what i’ve heard Some practices from the middle ages were the use of plants with
salicylic acid for pain (as in aspirin), kaolin for diarrhea (as in Kaopectate), and extracts
that were confirmed in the 20th century to kill Gram positive bacteria .Other plants used
had anticancer properties, caused abortion and treated malaria — and these have been
shown to be as effective as many modern-day Western treatments. Furthermore, Africans
discovered ouabain, capsicum, physostigmine and reserpine. Medical procedures
performed in ancient Africa before they were performed in Europe include vaccination,
autopsy, limb traction and broken bone setting, bullet removal, brain surgery, skin
grafting, filling of dental cavities, installation of false teeth, what is now known as
Cesarean section, anesthesia and tissue cauterization . In addition, African cultures
performed surgeries under antiseptic conditions universally when this concept was only
emerging in Europe.

ANg masasabi ko naman po, africa is unique and diverse in its own ways like it’s
-Many advances in metallurgy and tool making were made across the entirety of ancient
Africa. These include steam engines, metal chisels and saws, copper and iron tools and
weapons, nails, glue, carbon steel and bronze weapons and art (2, 7).
Advances in Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda between 1,500 and 2,000 years ago
surpassed those of Europeans then and were astonishing to Europeans when they
learned of them. Ancient Tanzanian furnaces could reach 1,800°C — 200 to 400°C warmer
than those of the Roman
